It works great
I got this for a old telescope that's been sitting around. Works great.

It's cheaper than most... may work for you.
It's cheaper than most... may work for you. My Iphone 14 barely fits in it. It is difficult to line it up with the view finder on my spotting scope. If I try this again I would spend a bit more and try to find something more user friendly.

Avoid
It fell apart first use, springs shot out and the housing fell apart.. the lens's holder sleeve fell off and would not stay attached…

It seems to be built very well, for price point.
I took this out and tried it today. Spent about 30 minutes trying to get it to work. I just could not get it to perform. It was just too busy for me trying to get it to focus in on the end of my spotting scope. I like the fact they do have a adapter built inside that will come out for bigger ends in your eyepiece. When I started using it, I didn't realize that came out and I was trying to get it over top and I was complaining the whole time. I finally figured it out that it was just an adapter for smaller ones. The one that came with my spotting scope work better than this one to get everything lined up. It is built very well and it may be exactly what you're looking for but for me it did not work very well.

Works, though not easily
This inexpensive little adapter did manage to hold my iPhone 8 Plus against the eyepiece of a monocular mounted on a tripod for a few birdwatching photos. It fit the monocular only once I removed one of the "V" braces. It's very finicky to set up, requiring fine adjustments to get to the exact center of the monocular's eyepiece, and the adapter has no provision for fine adjustment, just a wingnut to tighten onc everything's lined up. The location of the iPhone's camera lens also allowed some light to bleed through even once it was adjusted to best view. The spring-loaded clamp to hold the phone is very secure, very strong, but makes repositioning the phone in the clamp a two-handed job. Certainly a good value and an inexpensive accessory, but one that requires patience to set up and use. It did clamp to my tripod easily enough, and produced some reasonably good pictures.

It's meh.
It's okay not the best. Tried to use it for my Note 10+ but felt uncomfortable and barely fit over my phone protective cover. Took a while to adjust the scope it tried to use.

Not perfect, but good enough. Not recommended if your phone has a button on the back and no other way to open the screen. I'm using my retired LG V20 with this frame, and it would be a royal pain if I needed to use the button for fingerprint access. But because it no longer has a SIM card, I just leave the phone unlocked, and I can tap the front screen to turn on and off the display. Side pinches are not very tall, and I had to remove my new Samsung A54 from its case for it to fit in the holder. I also had to adjust the pinch arms so they gripped near the bottom of the phone, so they didn't press the side buttons. But the pinch spring is definitely strong enough you don't need to worry about it dropping your phone. And the tightening knob for the phone positioning should probably be bigger. It's a little small and difficult to tighten when you get the phone and adapter setup and aligned on your eyepiece. The knob for tightening around the eyepiece is fine.
