I used True Blue shampoo for years on my previous Maltese mix. It was a slightly different version. I found it to be gentle and the scent was pleasant and not overwhelming. It left her hair soft and easy to brush. I have a new dog, a full Maltese, now whose hair is even more cotton like and more prone to matting. This version of the shampoo works great on her hair. It left her hair silky soft, and it doesn't seem to tangle as much as post pro grooming..I noticed less itchiness with this shampoo than what the groomer is using. I will definitely recommend this shampoo to her. I also used the Easy Comb conditioner post bath. I love it too. My dog seems to like it also. I really trust their products.

A little bit goes a long way, lathers and rinses well. Smells great and leaves the fur soft.

OMG! I got a puppy and he unfortunately had crazy flakey dry skin and was driving me crazy and him as well. I bought 2 shampoos and didn’t work. I then saw this one and the reviews sold me and I bought it. I’ve used it’s twice in the past two weeks already and holy cow he doesn’t have dry flakey skin no more!!!! He scratches himself occasionally but nothing compared to when he was dry and flakey. Honestly it’s worth the money easy to use as the puppy shampoo is tear free and smells freakin amazing!!!! It doesn’t leave the dog smell. Mine has short hair so I don’t worry about tangles. I also use a leave in conditioner from another brand that I truly believe has helped with his dry skin as there is literally no more flakiness. this will be my go to shampoo!!

This shampoo seems to have fewer chemicals than many others. The scent is not too strong. It doesn't take too much to wash the dog. He doesn't have any kind of bad reaction to it. It doesn't do much deodorizing, though. It is expensive. That would be the only reason I might not buy it again.

Highly recommend! This is soooo nice. Left my short hair dachshund super soft and actually fluffy. He had a flare up of dry skin and was supper itchy and flackery. I washed him with another dog brand shampoo 4 times, and for the night he was okay. The next morning I noticed he was still itchy and had a little bit of flakes. This I went searching for a dog shampoo that was not harsh but that would really help. I don’t know how I found this one but PRAISE YAH. This is so good. I instantly say that his fur felt so soft more than any other shampoo he has ever used. And he smelt fresh and clean.

This shampoo is gentle but effective on our long hair GSD whose fluffy puppy fur is a magnet for everything. It did not make him itchy, his fur is so soft after a bath, and it has a light sweet scent that lingers in his fur for a week. It lathers and rinses out well, and he has no dandruff. We tried some other dog shampoos as well as diluted Castile soap, but this was by far the best.

This is a great product if you wash your (short hair breed) dog often just to get rid of the dog smell. It’s not the best product for getting rid of the dirt after those messy muddy days at the dog park though because it doesn’t lather too well. For this very reason, it won’t work well for dogs with longer coat, unless you use a substantial amount of shampoo. If you are looking for a mild shampoo I recommend it because: - It contains less aversive ingredients so it would work well for the itchy fur babies as it won’t over clean them and strip off all their natural oils. - Your pup will come out the shower smelling fresh, even though the shampoo doesn’t have chemical fragrance added to it. - It will give your pup’s coat a great shine; which is impressive considering how little it foams - leaves no residue If you are looking for a good foamy shampoo I suggest Burt’s Bees oatmeal shampoo also sold on Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00DTEV54Y/ref=dp_cerb_1 Hope this was helpful :)

I wasn't sent milk and honey as expected but overall good product and my puppy still smells great afterward using the green tea one after she dries off.
