Black Croc Hair Styling Clips - 6 Pack

I am African American with VERY THICK natural hair that I co-wash regularly in the shower. Because I have so much hair, I've found it easier to section my hair off with clips to ensure that I've conditioned every strand. With the previous Conair brand clips that I purchased, although they did hold lot of my hair in place as promised, the clamps began to snap off after a few uses which was quite frustrating. I've only used this brand a couple of times but already can feel the difference in the strength and quality of the product when opening and closing the clips. I also can appreciate how easily I can grip the clips while opening them up since the finger tip ends are ridged after dealing with the previous brands slipping out of my wet finger tips. Great buy. Will probably purchase another pack in the near future use to have a little more on hand.

These clips are my new favorite hair tool. While they are by no means something you would wear out into public, since they are simple and not particularly attractive, they are incredibly functional. They are great for sectioning hair or throwing it all up. I have a lot of hair (long and thick), and if I'm careful I can get it all up with one clip. These are really great for dying and styling hair. They don't snag on the hair at all, but they keep it up nicely. They are also really good for bleaching/dying hair, since they aren't metal like other similar clips.

These work really well for my hair. They have great grip and are sturdy and well-made. I have pretty thick hair/medium length (past my shoulders), and one of these does a really good job of holding up half of my hair while I am blow drying it. They are slightly difficult to open, but I think that is because I haven't used them too much. With more use, I can see them getting 'worn in' and getting easier to open. Overall, a great product.

These clips are pretty great! Pros: - Will hold A LOT of hair! My daughter has mixed hair - her hair is very coarse and thick is a kinky curl and these clips will hold large sections of her hair with ease. - Great styling assistant! I also use these clips while re-twisting/tightening dreadlocks. - Versatile - will hold a lot of hair or a little amount of hair - either way, tight hold! Con: - Can be slippery. When working with product to apply to the hair, it's hard to grab get the clips to pinch and open because where your thumb goes on the clip, there is no gripper so it's slippery. There is a gripper on the underside (bottom) of the clip but it's not as useful there. I wish the company would put grippers on both top and bottom to make these easier to use. Overall, there are great clips and the price is fantastic. I've been using the clips for about 3 months now and none have broken. They seem to be of good quality and will last awhile.

Consider me a convert. These things are UNBELIEVABLE! I've never met a clip that could do what this one does! I've got thick, wavy, mediterranean hair and it manages to hold all of it in just one clip. I originally bought these for separating my hair during styling, but now I use them during the day to get my hair off my neck. They're really just as practical as hair ties and they don't put crimp marks in, despite the stiff spring. I even did a roller-coaster test. One clip to hold ALL my hair twisted up while on a super-fast roller-coaster. Ok so, It didn't pass the roller-coaster test. But the fact that I even tried that test speaks volumes about how great they are. The minute I felt it loosen around my hair just slightly (I was upside down at the time) I quickly grabbed the clip and stuffed it down my shirt in fear that I might lose it. If I had used 2 clips I'm positive they would not have budged. Really, you can depend on them to hold your hair for almost any every-day activity. I purchased a pack of 6 in black and they were the correct brand (I saw some reviews about the colored clips not being the hair tamers). My review is based on my medium->thick wavy hair. If you have fro-level curly hair, you may have trouble using just one clip but I can't imagine these being designed any better than they are.

I have very thick, naturally curly hair. I mostly wear it curly, but occasionally I like to wear it straighten it. Straightening it is quite the ordeal and involves sectioning my hair, blow drying it with a round brush in very small sections, and then following up with a flat iron if I want it super straight. In the past I used an odd assortment of clips. I read about these types of clips recently and decided I had to try them. Since red is my favorite color, I immediately bought the red ones. I love them! The hold my hair in the different sections very well. I also read about a trick where you sleep with all of your hair in a bun on top of your head, held with one of these types of clips. The original story was so that someone with straight hair could get curl in their hair, but I use it for just the opposite. If I have straightened my hair this method helps to keep it from re-curling or frizzing during the night. I love these clips and they hold my thick, heavy, curly hair well while I style it.

I have super thick curly hair and I find that these clips do not easily navigate though my hair. I had other clips that looked identical to these, but most of them broke so i was looking for a replacement. These just snag my hair too easily. Im sure if you have finer-texted hair they'd work just fine, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. They get the job done, but they just don't compare to my GO clips. My GO clips were just easier to clamp open and closed and the pointed part that slides though they hair is a bit more pointy which is why i think it goes though my hair easier.

I use these clips almost every day for styling my hair. I was searching for clips to use for sectioning my hair. They make the hair styling process (flat ironing or curling) so much more effortless. They arrived in the mail right on time and they are exactly what I was looking for. They are just the right size and seem to be well-made. Most clips are cheaply made, but I never worry that these clips are going to break. They are also a nice matte-black color without design or logo which makes them look professional. I will definitely be purchasing more if they are ever misplaced.
