i was wandering through the athletic drinks area of my local market and I spotted a little Kool-Aid display. They were real small packets (0.14 ounce) and they only had 2 flavors. Hmmmmm. Kool-Aid. I remember that from my childhood. We couldn't afford soft drinks, but Mom always had a big pitcher of Kool-Aid in the fridge. And the three of us kids drank a lot of it. Well here were these little tiny packets and they only cost 29 cents. I just had to pick up a couple. When I got home to make it up, I had forgotten that it takes sugar, lots of sugar, to make it up. Such if life. I don't keep sugar or artificial sweeteners in the house. Well, I just improvised. I had a quart of Re- Active Lemon Lime Quencher (a sports hydration drink) and I put a small packet of Kool-Aid Grape into it and shook the contents. Hmmm. Not bad. A bit tart, but that was all right Nice artificial grape fragrance. I'd say it improved the Quencher.

Started buying Kool aid while trying to kick my soda habit. Gradually decreased the sugar and increased the stevia or monkfruit sweeteners. It worked. Totally off sugary soda and still drinking my Kool aid with the natural sweeteners I add to it.

Grape Koolaid is really hard to get where I live for some reason. Now I can buy it in bulk easily at Amazon! This plus a 25 pound bag of sugar from the warehouse club and I don't have to worry about stocking drinks in the house for a long while. I know its not the healthiest thing in the world but at least I can use good filtered water and pure cane sugar instead of taking my chances with mystery ingredients in bottled drinks.

If you live in Canada and love grape Koolaid this is a must! They robbed us of Koolaid mix years ago and left us with them awful metallic tasting Jammer drink pouches or them artificial sweetener drops. Which gives me headaches.Yes, It’s a lot of Koolaid, but it stays good forever pretty much.
