Nice DC adapter BUT…….
I use these to power my Astro dedicated cameras. Works as it should my only complaint is the cable that plugs into the camera is too short. Had to buy a 6 ft extension to give enough room when the camera is moved to a deep space object, other than that no complaints and it’s about 1/3 the price than the Astro manufacturers price.

Love it so much, I've bought THREE!
Half my week I work from home, and when I'm at work, I set up in two locations throughout the week. I quickly found that unplugging and plugging my laptop power cable in each place was becoming a headache -- so I've purchased THREE of these cables to have set up in all the places I normally work. Works great
This unit has a higher rated output than the my old power supply and stays much cooler. I purchased the 12V 5A switched power supply to replace a 12V .5A switched power supply unit that was struggling. This power supply has plenty spare amperage for future expansion, was priced right, and shipping was fast. I would recommend this to anyone.

Stopped working in less than 20 days
As the title says, this power supply stopped functioning properly in under 20 days of use. It was used for LED strips from the same brand, I thought buying a power supply from the same company would guarentee the best lifespan, but I was wrong. The failure started from the lights flickering or dimming, which I temporarily fixed by rotating the barrel plug til proper lighting returned, but by the next time I tried using them, the problem would be back. This continued for 5 days or so until the lights would only stay powered for a few minutes at a time before they would turn off again, eventually only staying on for seconds.
