Great for discovering vent leaks!
I bought these to test my motorhome's black tank problems. Come to find out our smell was coming from a hole (designed or otherwise) of our brand new toilet! I dropped this into the tank through the toilet and worked great. Even had a hard time putting it out when I was done with flushing.

No smell, no staining, just use a holder to not burn pipes.
So no photo (youโre welcome). These were great, used them to test out my sewer lines from a rat intrusion. We were able to find out exactly what was happening and I am happy to say rats are gone. These did not have any lasting odor or color so that is a win. One hint, where ever you are going to light it, make sure you put it in a container and not in the pipe itself. It will burn the pipe and then your problems will get so much bigger.

Helped my DIY waste vent leak triage
Easy to use. Makes a lot of smoke for identifying issues. For me it was plumbing vent issues. Got it done DIY with reverse shop vacuum and these smoke pellets.

Not as good as supply house
Tried these out cause Kansas City is sold out of the wick smoke bombs. These were ok but used a ton more than we usually do.

Heavy duty quality, worked even while minimal wet. Smells like real smoke, so if you have to do it in closed spaces, make sure to ventilate. Great price for quantity.
