I am relatively certain it will work for PS5 as i purchased it for use on a PS4. Just note its reads are USB3.0 fast but writes are a bit slower in the USB2.0 speed range.

is it sensitive to vibration in a car. Song skipping ? Shutting down ?

I bought these to install a Ford Sync Update. I needed about 20 Gbyte to download it from the internet. It worked perfectly but the download still took almost an hour to download on my 100 mbyte download speed. The Sandisk then plugged into my car's Sync 3 usb and completed the job in another 35 minutes. So, great price, works as it should. I don't think it would be subject to vibration unless your USB is damaged causing it to fit loosely.

Formatting 512gb drive to exfat- what allocation unit size? comes set on "128k" but options from 32k to 32,768k (using for video files 1gb- 4 + gb)?

Don't know any of that. But I can tell you it holds a lot and it don't seem much different than regular sandisk flash drive Also, my computer is not that fast
