Decent quality tap wrench
This does work with small taps; the jaws have a step in them for small taps. Just as good as any brand available, and you won't bend the handle. The tap will break before this happens.

Worked exactly as advertised! I would suggest watching a YouTube video to understand how drilling and tapping works so that you do it correctly. Very happy though!

Good tool but does not fit 1/4 inch bits. It fits 1/4 TAPS!
This is a good tool, but unfortunately I had to return and get a larger one. It goes up to 1/4 tap size - NOT bit size! I needed it for a heli-coil tap that has a 1/4 square bit. A tap that is 1/4 across would presumably attach to the tool with a bit that's narrower than that. Just something to consider if you are looking for a wrench to use with a large bit.

Easy enough for a clown like me to use.
Seriously, I haven't done any tool or machine work since high school shop class. This tap handle (along with tap and matched drill bit) makes it a piece of cake. I just used WD-40 liberally for both drilling the pilot hole, and tapping the threads. I would do 1.5-2 turns, back out, add more WD-40 and repeat until I reached the desired depth. I got this to fabricate a knife handle pommel for an old WW2 navy blad I'm restoring.

Saved the day!
Changing spark plugs, I ran into a cross-threaded ignition coil bolt that snapped flush when reinstalling. I used this tap handle with a Ryobi #1 screw extractor ('EZ out') and it worked beautifully. I did notice some other comments that this had trouble holding smaller bits. The flats on this extractor measure 3.30mm, and were a bit rounded because my adjustable wrench just couldn't hold tight enough. I dropped the extractor into this T-handle as far as it would go, tightened with a wrench and it held firm. This tap handle is solid enough to tap on it with a hammer to seat the extractor into the small hole I drilled. I went very slowly to hopefully avoid breaking the extractor... and about 5 min later, the broken bolt was out!
