20V MAX Blower, 100 CFM Airflow, Variable Speed Switch, Includes Trigger Lock, Bare Tool Only (DCE100B)

I already have two blowers, one gas Stihl, and one battery DeWalt. They handle the big and medium jobs. But I wanted a very small one, that I could keep inside and have handy for clearing off my front porch and walkways, which are constantly cluttered with leaves and dead flowers. THIS IS THE PERFECT SOLUTION! It has plenty of power for that job. More than enough. It's very small size was a great surprise (smaller than I thought it would be). Very light, very easy to use, and of course receives my DeWalt batteries. While other reviewers warn that it can't blow enough air, I am happy with how LITTLE it blows. I can now clear my walkways and stone paths by gently nudging leaves off, instead of scattering the surrounding ground cover all over the place, which makes a bigger mess than the leaves! It has three speeds AND a variable speed trigger. The trigger is very sensitive and way more responsive than the trigger on its bigger DeWalt brother. So much better control. I can dial it down very low. Also great for clearing my garage floor and workbench without sending a cloud of dust up into the shelves and rafters. And it's small enough to hide behind the paper shredder in my office, right by the outside door. So it'll always be ready, and always be handy. VERY pleased with this purchase. Ignore the reviewers complaining that it's not the right tool for lawns and gardens, not powerful enough. Of course it's not. It wasn't designed for that. But for what it IS designed for, it excels. Also ignore the reviewers complaining about the tubes falling off. They must have thought they slip on like a vacuum cleaner attachment. That's not how they work. You slide them on and then twist them to lock them in place. They work perfectly, and fit snugly, if you install them properly. Oh, and it comes with three finer nozzle adapters, which I have yet to try, but I expect they'll be great for even finer flow control. Two thumbs up!!

Fantastic blower. Simple, strong and very versatile. Note: it does gobble up battery power faster than I expected. Don't settle for anything less with cheaper brand name.

It is very light to carry but has an amazing blowing capacity. Perfect for people with less hand strength. Made for residential use and works fine for the average weekend gardener. Definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a small lightweight blower for small jobs

When I got the box I started laughing because the product turned out to be so much smaller than I anticipated. I simply didn't read the dimensions closely enough. But... it kind of turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It's still pretty powerful, but don't expect to leaf-blow your lawn with this thing. It simply doesn't move that HUGE volume of air like my gas-powered blower can. But...that being said, it's still very potent for its size and it turns out it's pretty much perfect for my needs - which is primarily cleaning up and blowing out the sawdust from my small workshop area. Other applications: Works pretty nicely at blowing water off a freshly-washed car if you are trying to avoid water spots. Also has tips for blowing up inflatable items (pool floats, air mattresses, etc.) which it does immensely faster than the small electric blowers. I even used it to very quickly blow up balloons for a party once. It turns out to be a great computer duster. The convenience factor has been huge for me. No fuel-oil mixture, no having to deal with prepping for winter, changing plugs, etc. Throw in a battery and go. I'm actually super happy with it.

Small and powerful. I love it. Just what I needed for pollen and grass clippings on the walkway and patio.

I bought this compact blower for three reasons: it’s small and cordless, it’s only moderately powerful and I already have 20v batteries (purchased with my DeWalt drill). Here’s my assessment based on those criteria: This blower could not be more convenient to use. It sits on a small shelf near the garage door and can be put to use immediately (since I keep the battery charged). As for power, I was looking for a blower that would move the sprinkling of leaves I get all summer in my heavily wooded yard without blowing away the mulch I’ve put down where grass wouldn’t grow. I had no delusions that this blower would be an all-purpose blower. I have a Stihl gas-powered backpack model with an airflow of 756CFM (compared to the 100CFM of this blower) for moving the leaf onslaught of fall and winter. For this time of year, the DeWalt compact well serves my needs (e.g., keeping the dark brown mulch looking tidy and blowing off the deck, driveway and garage floor.) Clearly, I’ve described a product worthy of five stars thus far, so why only a three-star rating? Alas, I was quite naive to think the 20v batteries that work great with my drill would work well with this blower. On first use, I exhausted both of my 1.5Ah batteries in about 11 minutes. Given that this compact blower doesn’t have major blowing power and, thus, takes longer to complete a job, that is woefully not long enough. I decided not to return it and to purchase more powerful batteries (two 5Ah) with charger because I could benefit from a longer charge for my DeWalt hedge clipper. I’m pleased with the results (I get 20-23 minutes per battery, depending on the speed selected), but given the expenditures for the blower, the 5Ah batteries & charger, it is not cost effective. Starting over, I would look at other brands for a small blower, despite my belief in the integrity of DeWalt tools. Overall, I’d recommend this compact blower only if you already have more potent DeWalt 20v batteries (4Ah or above) in your arsenal or if you have a very limited time use in mind. If you do need more time and have to buy batteries, keep in mind that the associated starter kit seems to offer 3Ah batteries that will still only provide 20-23 minutes total time for two batteries, which is why I spent a little more for the 5Ah and got double that time.

Purchased specifically to blow leaves from underneath our RV. Lightweight so not cumbersome to crawl around under the trailer with it. Moved quite a bit of dry leaves, truly not sure how it would work on wet debris. 3 speeds are wonderful! Blew just the debris and left the stones in place. Hubby has a Dewalt cordless drill so we’re able to buy the blower only as the batteries are interchangeable. So convenient to use a cordless tool!

Bin elektriker. Nach erledigter arbeit muss ich oft kehren oder irgendwas säubern. Mit dem staubsauger dauert es ewig und man kommt nicht in jede ritze. Gerade zum "auspusten" von verteilerschränken ist der dewalt super. Klar fliegt einem alles um die ohren, aber die bepustete stelle ist super sauber. Auch kleine sandhaufen und vorallem sägespäne bekommt der kleine prima weggepustet. Am ende nurnoch kurz den haufen einsammeln und fertig! Er ist leise und der 5ah akku hält auch relativ lange. Er ist sein geld auf jeden fall wert.

Rather noisy blower at full setting. Only quiet on lowest setting. As expected, does not put out a lot of volume, so good for small areas only. Even a 200 sq ft area would take a while to clear. UPDATE: broke down after a year's use. Local agent in Singapore refused to fix, saying that this item on Dewalt's Singapore inventory list, and warranty is not international.
