If I’ve ever written a product review on Amazon, I don’t recall. However, this umbrella was so wonderful, I felt the need to leave a review! My 3-year-old is obsessed with umbrellas. To avoid having to huddle under one with her, all crouched over like Quasimodo, I decided to purchase her a children’s umbrella for Christmas. My only complaint about this product was the difficulty to wrap an umbrella! Luckily, my 3-year-old isn’t great at guessing the present to there weren’t any spoilers. She unwrapped the plastic handle first and was able to immediately identify it as an umbrella. We got the purple unicorn, which is both her favorite color and animal. Perfection! I showed her how to open it the first time. Imagine my surprise with how smoothly it opened. And I was so pleased with the overall shape. The umbrella is like a deep dome and it’s perfect for small children who wave them around all willy nilly to ensure they will actually remain dry in a rain storm. I then showed her how to close the umbrella. I was also pleased at the simplicity and safety of the closing process. No pinching possible! My 3-year-old is able to open and close it entirely on her own now! If I allowed her to sleep with this umbrella, she most certainly would! I wish this umbrella came in adult sizes because with the shape and ease of opening and closing, I want one for myself!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My 5-year-old officially has the nicest umbrella in the family! I was looking for something she could open and close on her own, but it also had to pass her high standards for cuteness—and this was perfect. She told me she was able to keep herself and two friends dry and had no trouble using it on her own. Functional, well-made, and super stylish—highly recommend for any little fashionista!

Very cute, a perfect size for a young child. Bright colors and fun design! Has worked well through a couple rains so far.

My grandson freaking good loves this i got it for his bday cause he wanted and umbrella and he uses it and it's not even raining.

3 y.o. granddaughter is so happy with her umbrella. She is able to open and close it without help. It feels very sturdy. She has used it in the rain and was able to manage by herself.

Super cute! Some of the stitching isn’t super secure however this has lasted us a while and is still working as an umbrella for lite use should.

This is such a cute kids umbrella! It's such a good deal for the price and our 4 year old loves. It's durable and easy to carry around.

Wie schon mehrfach von anderen Käufern beschrieben ist dieser Kinderschirm schon nach wenigen Öffnungen defekt, weil die Spannstangen aus der oberen Rosette fallen, sich nicht mehr einfügen lassen und somit keine Schirmspannung mehr aufzubauen ist. Zudem ist nach 4 Monaten schon kein Kontakt zum Verkäufer ( Amazon US ) mehr möglich und somit kann kein Wandel gefordert werden. Die Enkelin war sehr begeistert und ist jetzt tief enttäuscht. Leider rausgeworfenes Geld.

This umbrella gets points for being adorable and cute, but it loses stars with it not even lasting my daughter a full year, which is kind of disappointing!
