9815 & 62538 Accurate Grill Thermometer Replacement for Weber Genesis Silver B/C, Genesis Gold B/C, Genesis 1000-5500 Series, Temperature Gauge with a 5” Prong, Thermostat for Weber Gas Grill

I was shocked at how well this thermometer fit and worked. Been using it for a few months now and zero problems. My last replacement failed after a short time as the tip of the thermometer when installed in the upper lid sits right above the right side of the cooking area and when there was any sort of hot grease flame was near the tip, the gauge would go past the hottest measurement. After a few similar situations previously, the gauge was ruined. So far, that's not the case. I highly recommend!

Works like the original. I have miss placed my original for the older charcoal burning Weber.

Second one I had to buy because the first one failed the boiling water temperature calibration test. But the Amazon return process was quick and painless so I ordered another one from same listing that day and got it two days later. This one was in a ziplock bag and not in a OEM box of the first one, but it passed the boiling test perfectly and fit the holder in my Genesis Gold grill lid. I like this one because it has a long pointy end so I can pull it out of its holder in the grill lid and stick it in the meat. That way I can get grill oven temperature or meat temperature with one device. Being a physicist I like duality.

A perfect replacement for our Weber grill. Very cost effective and delivered in just a few days.
