It lights quickly with a white light, and does not appear to produce radio frequency interference as many standard LED bulbs do that can interfere with the receiver. It does exactly what it is supposed to do.This bulb is actually a replacement for the previous generation Genie LED bulb LEDB1-R. I checked my Amazon orders, and I had ordered 2 of the original Genie bulbs in December of 2016. One of those 2 bulbs failed after roughly 6 years of service. When I went to order a replacement, it appears that Genie has updated the model for the bulb to the newer GLEDB2-R model.The newer, current GLEDB2-R bulb appears to be a new, improved and likely lower cost design. It is a cooler color temperature and appears to be more of a pure white than the definite warm white of the GLEDB1-R previous bulb. The new bulb is specified as 4000K color temperature. I’ve taken photos of both bulbs in the opener with both the plastic cover open and closed for comparison. The left, more yellow bulb is the original, the right bulb is the new GLEDB2-R.The new bulb does appear to be even more energy efficient than the previous generation. It is specified at 78 mA versus 102 mA with both specified at 800 lumens light output. Other than the color temperature, the light output appears similar.The new bulb is also somewhat lighter, so has likely been cost reduced as well. It is hard to know if any RF filtering components have been cost reduced. It does seem to work fine, and there is no problem with closing the door remotely when the bulbs are lit.

Installed in 15+ year old chamberlain garage door openers because the doors weren’t opening all the time. Supposed to help with interference from led lights, didn’t make a difference. Then realized that I have 6 - 4ft led shop lights that probably weren’t helping. Extending the antenna works better. Brighter light than the 60 watt LEDs they replaced.

Great replacement bulbs highly recommend

I have been using my 6 month old garage door opener (Genie) for months without any issue. Without warning, both led light's would no longer turn off. Even with the wired remote! I searched all over the internet for others having this issue, found only one post where the guy had replaced his bulbs with Genie bulbs and the problem was solved. I figured there was very little chance these bulbs would work, but it was worth a try before going down the "warranty" road with Genie, and boy was I excited to see them turn right on and off! I would have given them 5 stars, but they are ridiculously expensive for a light bulb and not nearly as bright as the led lights I had in the opener before. All in all, its a win for me!

After struggling with new LEDs that caused glitches in my garage door opener, I found that some bulbs don't interfere with its frequencies. I ordered replacement bulbs on Amazon that meet the right specs. Today, they arrived, and installing one immediately turned on the light and stopped the interference. Now, I can enjoy smooth garage door operation without RF disruptions from incompatible LED bulbs. Amazon offered the best value for a product that emits a bright, temperature-resistant light, fits universally, and is very easy to install.

Look no further for great garage door opener LED bulbs. The light color is natural and look good. The lumens is good for lighting up a dark garage. No LED bulb flickering. Good remote transmitter distance. Good value for the money.Great Product!

I can definitely say that this bulb does work perfectly, so far, in a Craftsman 1/2 HP, 315 mHz garage door opener that's about 14 years old. I'm using the remote from about 50 feet with no problems.

Did not realize regular LED bulbs caused me so much frustration with the interference. This worked as advertised and I have great range again from inside the car. Plan on buying again for the 2nd opener. Recommend.

Exactly as described, delivered on time and is working perfectly so far. Good brightness. A little pricey but just got tired of constantly replacing my regular bulbs in the garage door opener. Hope these bulbs last a long time!

So far, work well. Lift master door opener works with no interference issues. Nice and bright. Left them on for 8 hours while working in garage, lens covers felt cool to the touch. Time will tell if they take the vibration over the long term.

We bought these new bulbs for our garage door opener as the previous standard LED bulbs we used flickered and preformed poorly. The new bulbs are bright, light up instantaneously, and do not flicker. Although they are a little more expensive than standard LEDs, I anticipate that these specialty LED bulbs will do a great job and last for several years. We are very happy with this purchase and recommend this product to others.
