(2010) continues the misadventures of the cast of the series Hetalia: Axis Powers (2009). Various countries of the world are portrayed as teenage boys who alternately squabble and try to work together. They need to concentrate on the latter when the Earth is invaded by the Pictons, featureless aliens who resemble simple CG versions of noppera-buo, the faceless ghosts of Japanese folklore. The Pictons generate multicolored tendrils that bleach Technicolor landscapes into empty expanses of white with a few gray lines. Paint It, White! is no sillier than FLCL, but the characters remain unsympathetic one-notes, and the story careens along at an unvarying pace, interrupted by shots of the logo and the characters saying "Hetalia." Director Bob Shirohata and his crew revel in offensive ethnic stereotypes, although the series was cancelled in Japan when Korean protestors complained about the depiction of the Korea character in the manga version. The filmmakers recycle a lot of footage from the TV series, including the singularly tasteless gag of Italy announcing, "I've got a little surprise for you!" and Germany replying, "What is it, another Jew?" The limited-edition DVD includes a green bandana printed with the characters. honestly a pretty funny movie and any fan of the series will enjoy it as well. there was some stuff included from the show which confused me at first. other than that i loved it, 12 year old me would be so happy lol!

I was worried that I had seen all the "good parts" already during little youtube clips but I can honestly say that I thouroughly enjoyed this. There were still (new) funny parts for me to laugh at. As far as plot goes it's a typical Hetalia piece. Some scenes flow in sequential order like a normal movie but then out of nowhere there will be a "flashback" kind of moment to scenes from Axis Powers dvds, etc. Overall it was definitely worth the price I paid. I've watched it more than once. Hetalia is love. Hetalia is life.

It's a must have for Hetalia fans~!
Seriously! This movie was amazing and I'm so glad I got my hands on it~! Funimation did a great job with dubbing this movie as well. I watched the movie 3 times in one day~! (The English dub, of course. I really love it and it always has me laughing for the longest time.) The DVD quality is great, nothing is damaged and it was shipped right on time! Now, excuse me while I go watch the movie again.

I love Hetalia!
I am a big fan of hetalia and have been for years. This movie was perfect for my hetalia collection. The movie was great and fun just like all the other hetalia series shows. Perfect condition.

Great movie! Loved it!
I thought this was really funny! It was great seeing the guys in a full length movie instead of the show where you see just little 2-3 minute skits of them. In the movie, however, they do put about 7-8 skits in it like they do the show. The skits were pretty funny, but they had nothing to do with the movie and found myself wishing they would just get back to the movie. The movie is just over an hour long and the animation is really good. The plot itself isn't bad. Yeah, its the same old "we gotta save the world from aliens" story, but it isn't done in a cheesy-way and ends very nicely. Not everyone had major parts in the story...Prussia, Romano, Spain, Poland and a couple of others had some quick scenes, but the main heroes of the story are the ones on the dvd cover. Sealand makes an appearance as well towards the end, and he gets a little but more sceen time than the other bit-characters, but it made sense for him to make an appearence the way he does in the story. I love the ending song as well, "Wa Wa World" and am hoping Amazon has it for download some day soon. (Hint hint) : ) Anyways, great movie and a must for any Hetalia fan!

Hetalia is AWESOME :D
I had watched it on Netflix, and would watch it all the time but then it was removed. I was so glad to see this and bought it asap! I'm so glad I did! :D Not to mention it has awesome bonus features (including an AWESOME commentary with the voice actors, and the Japanese intro, to the first premiere in Japan, where the seiyuus of the axis speak about Hetalia!) and now I can watch hetalia anytime I want!!! There were so many funny moments in this movie, that there was very rarely a time I wasn't laughing like a maniac XD I highly recommend it!!! <3

Hetalia
I was searching in vain to get the right gift for my youngest Granddaughter (she is now a pre-teen so gifting can get difficult). Her Father told me she really likes this anime series called Hetalia but I wouldn't know where to find it. I told him I bet it is on Amazon, they have everything and Lo and behold I found it and she was esthetic

This particular DVD has been very hard to find in the past. Now I've finally found it and I'm so glad I bought it. The DVD was in perfect condition and arrived very quickly. The movie is hilarious and a must-have for any Hetalia fans. There's some great extras on here as well. The japanese and the english dub both sound great. There a few parts of the movie that are some old scenes from the series but it is still a must-buy in my opinion. The new footage is awesome! :)

Hetalia der FILM- ist wie die Serien DVDs auf English, läuft 78 min und ist im Gegenzug zu den Serien DVDs mal ein ganzer Film. Statt das sich hier die Länder gegenseitig an den Kragen gehen wie es in der Serie der Fall ist, wir der Feind hier im Film- in form einer Verrückten Alien Invasion dargestellt, die nicht wenig an manche Kinofilme erinnert;-) Die Aliens geben nicht bekannt warum sie die Erde angreifen, und schon gar nicht weshalb sie alle Länder in eine Art farblose Kritzelei verwandeln- inklusive Einwohner die in Aliens verwandelt werden und dann auch noch so Langweilig werden. Natürlich finden es die Länder gar nicht Witzige das ihre Heimat und all ihre neusten Waffen von Kampf Jet bis hin zum Panzer mit Blümchen-laiser beschossen werden und somit auch zu unbrauchbaren Krakel-zeichnungen umgewandelt werden, die wie aufgeweichtes Papier aussehen. Nachdem jeder eine Niederlage kassiert hat gegen die Invasion, schließen sich die Länder (endlich) zusammen um gegen die Aliens an zu kommen, was nicht weniger Komisch ist als die Kurzfilme in den Serien. For allem (wie) und (wer) die Invasion abwehrt, wird bis zuletzt nicht erraten:-D Nur so viel ich musste Lachen. Der Film Hetalia- die Farbe ist weiss empfehle ich an Fans der serie wie ich es bin- für mich ist der Film genau so gut gelungen wie die Serie.
