Very well made, sturdy, and easy to carry. The divisions in each drawer make it easy to store your painting material, brushes, etc. Great if you like painting in different place, you can carry it all with you!!!

Sturdy and well made, the finish was a lot nicer in person than I had initially expected. I got this to store some clay and related supplies. It’s easily portable given the handle.

This art supply box is a Christmas present for my grandson. After seeing Toy Story 2 and the toy artisan who arrives to fix Woody's arm with his supply box in tow, my grandson said (with wide eyes) he'd love to have a box like that (this was in August so it wasn't a hint for a Christmas present--lol). It had compartments and opened up from a smallish box to something holding lots of toy repair supplies. I have opened all of the compartments of my purchased box and have found the box quite sturdy. The slides worked well and everything opened up with no snags. It's small enough for a 5 year old to carry, yet it has lots of storage areas. I plan on staining the box a medium gray color and writing my name in one of the compartments near the back of the box. I believe this will become a true keepsake for my grandson and he'll remember this Christmas for many more to come.

I like this item but has room for improvement. I have looked all over for various supply storage. I like this one, will probably get more. Price point is a bit high for the materials. Either lower the price point or offer a higher end construction option such as acrylic. Material- as I mentioned earlier I'd like to see better quality materials. I would pay a bit more for this same box in a better material. Size - it fits a lot of stuff but wanted it to carry more. Increase the size a bit and test crayon boxes and marker boxes. I feel the bottom drawer is not secured, it could be much deeper without increasing the amount of material being used. There many things like larger glue sticks that were just a hair too big to fit the way i wanted. That said, it is great for craft storage, I would like to see more versions of this box

I wanted to give a young hobbyist a place for his paints and figures and I wanted something more than just a box with a lid. I saw how this storage box opened and instantly thought of my friend's son. There is plenty of variety of storage that makes this wooden storage box so cool to use. Brushes, paints and figures than all be stored and transported in this box. My friend's kid loved it. And because it was wooden I was able to burn and then stain the case to it looked fantastic some thing you could find at some craft store. In fact I have not seen any box like this at two of the big name craft stores in my area. Very cool wooden storage box. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

My box arrived a week ago and I'm very excited about it. I knew it was going to be unfinished wood, and I'm planning on using urushi to finish it, but it was prettier than I expected and it could also be used in its "unfinished" state. For the price I was expected it to need a lot of attention as far as sanding goes, but it's really in lovely shape. Everything slides in/out easily, nothing gets stuck or is hard to move. I looked at a lot of options for this purchase and I'm really pleased with my choice. It's roomy, nicely made, and overall a great choice for this price point. I recommend it!

It's a nice item, but as others have said, it is actually quite small. Unfortunately, too small for my needs (I have a few sewing items that do not fit comfortably). I'd give it a higher rating, except for the fact that the seller requires you to pay return shipping, to the tune of 1/3 of the overall purchase price. Why Amazon continues to allow third-party sellers to charge so much for returns, I have no idea.

I really like this, even though it doesn't hold all of my markers (I easily have over 200). The top compartments hold exactly 36 sharpies (fine point and fine liner size). I had to break one of the two decider walls on the right one. The center compartments are great for storing my scattered various markers, too. I'm most disappointed in the bottom sliding drawer, as it is very thin and can only hold about twenty markers or so (if I painted, it would be fabulous for brushes, I think). My only real complaint is that the left metal latch isnt aligned, and absolutely will not hook on to its little knob. The right one does, though.

All compartments function and is built well. I also like how it can be possible to paint it also.
