Review: A little reservation.... - I would have given this lantern 5 stars but one of the three lanterns I ordered came in a smashed box as a result of being packaged with a bunch of other, heavier items, and it rattles. Don't know if it has sustained damage, but am returning it. Another one has the solar panel assembled crooked on the back, which doesn't seem to affect the operation, though I suggest the company improve its quality control, since this seems to say "sloppy assembly". It puts out a nice amount of light, though illuminating a small room would be a stretch in the description department. It appears sturdy, but haven't had it long enough for a fair appraisal. I think my grandson will love getting one as a Christmas present. Review: Nice light, but. . . - Nice light but case so slick it slips/slides out of place. Slid off a table and broke. Case cannot be opened for assessment/possible repair. However, liked the light so ordered another. That one arrived with a death rattle and although it turns on will not reliably stay on--seems to have a short but can't open case to check so basically not functional even before it got a chance to slip off a bumped table. Will update review if remedial action is taken.
