WORKPRO 20V 1/2" Cordless Impact Wrench, 320 Ft-Lbs Max Torque

For those of you with short attention spans like myself "this WORKPRO 20V Cordless Impact Wrench, 1/2-inch, is GREAT, and will remove your lug nuts with no problem". I wanted a compact impact wrench with a half inch anvil, that could also remove stuck bolts. I saw this 1/2" compact Impact and thought it would make a nice addition, I owned other WORKPRO tools and they are excellent. But to be honest, I was worried this might just be the 3/8" compact Impact with a 1/2 anvil on it even though it Says 320 foot pounds. This is not the case however, I ran it through its paces, lug nuts, brake caliper bracket bolts, lag bolts. I have a scissors jack with a 13/16 socket attachment, and I even jacked up my wife's car with it to see how it would perform. It did everything I had it do, and is EVERY BIT the 320 foot pounds it claims to be and I was blow away with the power and quietness of it and the 3 LED lights come really handy. purchased in Nov. 2023 still works fine. it has broken loose approximately 90-95% of nuts and bolts I've put it on. only problem I've had is trying to read the green led gauge bar on the battery packs in sunlight. It's worked well and several times it's worked better then some of big name brands friends own.

This is a budget impact. Don't expect to take off an axle nut from an old rusted axle (see video). This will, however provide much more power and ability than a drill. 90 ft lb lug nuts are no problem! It can pull those off in no time! All 10 lug nuts off and no battery power used. It's still ready to go. For less than half the price of an Earthquake at HF, this will do minor jobs up to maybe 200 ft lbs? If you have the money, spend more!

Not gonna lie—this is my first cordless impact wrench, and I have been an auto-mechanic for like 20 years now!!! Hahahaha! But, the reason I bought this particular model is because of its price, which is an AMAZING deal, by the way— and because of how cool it looks. I have to remove lug-nuts to install (useless) wheel-lock kits on brand-new cars almost every day, but using shop-air can be a trying process; so when I finally grew a pair of balls, I bought this to speed-up the process. Guess what—this thing has been great ever since. Strong enough to break loose lug-nuts, for sure—especially ones that have not been OVERLY-TIGHTENED by King Kong—and its battery-life way surpassed my expectations. Since buying this almost a month ago, I have yet to charge the battery. It lasts that long—and even without the charge, it still breaks loose any lug-nut. I have NOT tried it on anything else—like exhaust bolts (on which I would never recommend using an electric impact), suspensions, or anything related to the engine; although I am sure it would work just well. WORKPRO even included a Thank You card, and a mini-flier of other items this company makes. Truly a legit tool, and an amazing one at that for the price. Snap-On and Matco can both go fart up a flagpole with their overly-expensive tools. In my honest opinion, of course

Looked nice and well made coming out of the box, but the battery would not take a charge. Contacted product support (their response time was a bit slow), explained the problem and within a couple days they sent a replacement battery no questions asked. Product works very well. I recommend this brand.

2 years later still going strong

I got this for basically the sole intention of removing the lug nuts off my full-size V8 pickup truck (extended cab). I tried with a regular tool set to get them off but to no avail. Idk if tire places over tighten lugs these days so you have to come back or what but they were in mega tight. Quickly realized I need a impact wrench but was turned off by the high prices. Until I saw this bad boy. I figured what the heck and bought it. It made easy work of the lug nuts. And had power to spare. It was insane to see how quickly and easily this tool removed what I assumed to be impossible to take off nuts without a pneumatic wrench. Effortless for this little hand held tool. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice, handy little wrench......for the first few weeks. It actually does remove lug nuts from wheels; but after a year of owning, and using once or twice a month, the battery will not hold a charge. With the battery not full, the torque is nowhere near 300 ft lbs. It worked well for the first few months, but a failing battery in less than 12 months and maybe 10 uses is a FAIL in my books.

I got this on sale at a very good price and it works well for most light duty vehicles. It won't loosen tight lug nuts, you need a breaker bar or tire iron. Once the bolts are cracked it's fine and it will tighten to over 100 ft lbs. If you need a cordless to break loose lug nuts or bolts that are tight...keep shopping. Update: 5.5 years later and I have to give it 5 stars as it's still going and working as well as it did when new. It's still not the strongest given the new batteries and tech improvement, but has done the job hundreds of times now. Kudos to workpro for a very good product.

Great value....used it on my Toyota Corolla and Dodge Caravan to change both sets of tires (going from winters to summers). Worked great, just the right amount of power to pull bolts off, and if you are patient enough...not so much torque you over tighten the bolts when you put the wheel on. Only downside is the battery... charged for four days and still never hit 100%. Also after one car lost a full tick...that was surpring for a Lith. Ion battery, would have expected a longer life. Other than that, was awesome! Hopefully it lasts.
