According to my Veterinarian, this is excellent quality dog food for an active adult dog (currently 4 years old). Blue Wilderness brand dog food is my go to wet dog food for my 4 year old adult German Shepherd Dog. I typically buy several different varieties of Blue Wilderness dog food and alternate between them. My dog eats this food enthusiastically.

I usually make my dog food, and can it myself, but I have been so busy the past few months that I started buying this food for her. She is doing great on it! She is 8 years old, and still gets the zoomies, is loving and as opinionated and stubborn as always. Haha. Her coat feels good and she has good breath.

My dogs would open these cans with their teeth if they could. They are crazy for this stuff. The best part for me is it's a really good food. Priced fairly. They will eat dry or wet. They are golden retrievers 13 and 2yo. Beautiful coats. What you feed your dogs matters. Some of the foods on the market are way out of most budgets so read what you buy. You can also self prepare alot of raw vegetables. If you trust your vet ask what he or she thinks of the "new" dog foods. When we got our new puppy I let them pick from several of the newer foods, she picked the Wilderness,paws down! My male of course followed her lead.

The food is good but it’s pricey but then again what isn’t these days money doesn’t stretch far enough so I can’t recommend it for everyone. If you need a high protein can food then there are cheaper options if you look around and I would say stay away from anything that says with gravy.

I started getting this high fat brand of canned food to help a very sick puppy back to health and I continue to give it to her. My dogs love this added to their kibble. It is higher in fat content than other brands so good for putting weight and muscle back on a sick skinny dog.

My senior Chihuahua - age 11 - is now very choosy in his likes and dislike, but accepts Blue Buffalo canned food happily, to which I add powdered flax seeds, half-a-pinch (or less} each of organic turmeric and Ceylon cinnamon and sometimes a cooked, meshed-up cube of grass fed and finished stewing beef. His ageing health is noticeably vibrant now which is measured by the way he bounces up the front cement steps . I will not give him anything I would not eat myself or give my own family. My life depends on his welfare and next month I will be 92.

My nine year old dog literally jumps when I dish his food out. He is well fed and I never see him get excited like this. His yeasty paws have improved since we switched, and his coat is shiny.

Tasty and not full of water. Enough to fill up a medium-sized dog.
