Replacement Battery for COWON D2 2GB D2 4GB D2 8GB D2 Plus 16gb 1800mAh

This battery fit in my Cowon D2 perfectly, and in the short time I've used it takes and holds a charge fine. The seller on Amazon was "CameronSino". Some tips: To remove the back cover take out the two very tiny Philips screws (prob #00) on one side and then pop out the other side where a single latch post molded into the center of that side of the back cover goes down into the body and hooks in. Use a very thin tool - maybe a single-edge razor blade - to go between the cover and the body to push that latch pin in just a bit, to make it release. The old battery cable simply unplugs from the circuit board (carefully wiggle it loose) and the new one plugs in.

This batteries part number are identical to the Cowon D Plenue DAP. The battery was 1.5mm wider than spec. making it challenging to install. Installed and charged.

No complaint for the product, did not use. Just want to warn that a "Cowon D2" is NOT the same as a "Cowon Plenue D2". My mistake. The Plenue D2 battery is approximately 44mm wide, this will not fit.

This battery is a perfect replacement for Cowon D2 player. Battery capacity same as original. Easy to replace.

This battery is stated o be a replacement for the Cowon D2. It is larger than the Cowon D2 case; not a suitable replacement.
