All the books in the Gus and Grandpa series are excellent.Not only do they bring out the special bond children have with their grandparents but also teaches the young readers something along the way.The situations or difficulties Gus encounters are common to all children and its a delight to see how Grandpa lovingly helps him through all of them. The simple and thoughtful storylines and thegreat artwork also take us back to the kinder and gentler timesof our own childhood.
