Hard?
Price is good, but the product is a bit fragil

Ok
Not great. No brake. Shoe adjustment knob in very awkward position. Needed a saw with the blade on the right occasionally and this is ok for price.

Can Einhell compete with Milwaukee and Dewalt at a lower price?
If you are a tool guy or gal, the first thing you’ll notice with this Einhell saw is an uncanny red and black resemblance to Milwaukee tools. Is Einhell a cheap knockoff? Absolutely not. Read on for a detailed comparison to 6 ½ Circular Saws from Milwaukee and Dewalt: First, Einhell is a highy regarded and longstanding brand from Germany yet new to the American market. Like Dewalt, Milwaukee and others, you’ll deep line of complementary tools with marching 18 volt batteries and chargers. Einhell is an official tool partner of BMW and that was enough to give me the confidence to try this excellent saw. When unboxing, I could immediately tell this saw is impressively built, solid, and ready to “get ‘er done!” EINHELL TE-CS POWER X VS MILWAUKEE M18 CORDLESS CIRCULAR SSAW At current prices, the Einhell is about $25 cheaper than the Milwaukee yet packs in more RPM power, 4,200 vs 3,500. Importantly, both let you adjust bevel and depth. Both brands have good quality chargers (not included with this bare tool) and similar 18V lithium ion batteries. Since dust irritates my lungs when I work, the Einhell’s most impressive feature is its vacuum extraction adapter, not offered in this price range by either Milwaukee or Dewalt. EINHELL TE-CS POWER X VS DEWALT MAX CORDLESS CIRCULAR SAW I have more Dewalt power tools than any other and it is my go-to brand although I have an assortment of excellent Makita, too. The Dewalt features 5,150 RPMs, higher than the Einhell’s still good 4,200. However, at about $130 the Dewalt bare saw is almost double the price and no dust vacuum extraction is features. Dewalt does tout its 20 volt batteries yet in real world use there is little practical difference between 20V and 18V of other brands inc.uding Einhell. WHICH TO BUY? I’m not a pro contractor, so for me the Einhell hits the sweet spot between strength and every usability. It’s impressive and will now be my new everyday circular saw. Although the brand is new here, there is a toll free USA customer support number and a very impressive two year warranty. Very highly recommended. You’ll find a versatile selection of Einhell batteries available, too. The 5.2Ah version is not too heavy considering its capacity yet to lighten the load I find the 2.6Ah battery to be light and a great buy at about $40. Hope this too long review has been of some small help. Wishing you and yours the best of luck with your upcoming projects!

Handy Little Saw
Ok, so I've been working with hand and power tools for a long time now, about 50 years, so I know a little about what works, what doesn't. and what you shouldn't even bother looking at. I do recall the days when every single freaking power tool you needed to use had to have an outlet and a long (sometimes very long) extension cord, which at times was just a plain headache. It figures that now that I'm retired, every conceivable power tool you need on a jobsite comes in a cordless option. This saw from Einhell is a nice tool to have around. It's not gonna rip everything, but for lighter woods, and depending on the blade, will make some jobs faster and easier. And, for those guys (and gals) like me who can't go a day without getting a migraine, this puppy is the quietest circular saw I've ever used. I have never heard of the Einhell company before, so checked them out. Got to say, I was pretty impressed by what I read. This is not some fly by not company that decided two weeks ago to start making power tools. They are well established across the globe, and seems the market in the United States is new to them. I've bought German made tools, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, and assorted products from there, and I have hardly ever been disappointed. Germans make some of the finest engineered products in the world, in my opinion. Anything coming Einhell I'd say would most likely fit into this same category. And, any company that BMW partners with (Formula E Motorsports) has got to have something going on. There's no way I believe BMW would take a chance with their reputation with anything other then a well established, more than qualified, manufacturer of tools to support their motorsports division. I could be wrong, but just don't see it any other way. I love this saw. I've used it for many jobs around my home, and makes using a circular saw much more convenient. For a pro carpenter, it's not gonna replace a heavy duty Milwaukee, or DeWalt saw, but when lighter jobs come up, and they do all the time when you don't need the power of a plug in saw, this would be nice to have in your arsenal of tools. This sells for $65.93 (as of this review), and an excellent price for this saw. Comes with battery and charger, and battery will work with basically their complete line of tools. Their line of tools is impressive, but still not available at many retailers here in the U.S., and selection is limited. But, if the rest of their tools are as nice as this, and at prices like this, I can't imagine it won't be long till a much bigger selection is available. A great tool at a very nice price.

2 year warranty & less then 50 bucks. Plus not a Chinese brand. Led light to see work area.
I've used many Einhell tools and haven't had 1 fail me yet. I personally like this brand of tools and I'm like Tim the Tool man Taylor when it comes to using tools and modifying stuff insert Grunt........... The saw has a led light on it so you can actually see what you are cutting. No idea why all power tools don't have led lights on them like this. Led lights use hardly any power. It has a vaccum connector so you can clean up the sawdust as working. You don't need any tools to swap the blade whicu is helpful since I can never seem to find the tools I'm looking for lol. This tool company gives a 2 year warranty which you don't get with alot other brands. I've became a fan of this brand which is basically trying to get Into the American market. They are basically the Dewalt of the UK. this Circular Saw is less then 50 bucks so you really can't go wrong with it. This isn't a cheap Chinese product. It's battery powered (battery & charger sold separately) I've used this saw when building my chicken coop and it didn't miss a beat. Im a fan of these battery power tools. Can't tell you how many times I've got tangled in the cord. The main issue I have with corded tools is having to run the extension cord from the house & since I don't have a plug outside since my house was built in 1923 (old farm house) I have to run the cord out the window which means the window is cracked open which allows Flys to get in and hot air/cold air depending on the weather. These battery tools last the whole job and say the battery did die the drill I have used the same battery so I can swap it. Not only that but they have a quick charge feature. So I could drop the battery in the charger and get me a drink or something while it charges. I've used many Einhell tools and haven't had 1 fail me yet. Great Tool, Except...
Overall, I really like this product. It as one "feature" however that would keep me from recommending it. Here is the problem... The tool requires you to push two different buttons in succession in order to start the saw. I am guessing that this is some type of safety feature that keeps you from accidentally starting the saw by picking it up and hitting the trigger. The problem is that the first button is very small, awkwardly positioned and ended up giving me a blister on my thumb after only 30 minutes of use. Seriously, I don't know who designed this thing but the button design and placement is just awful and needs to be changed. Outside of that, I really like the device. It is light but well balanced and is ready to use right out of the box (after the battery is charged, of course). The saw seems to run at a rather low RPM compared to corded saws but it works. I was able to saw through 2x6" lumber with no problems at all. On a full charge the device lasted for around 30 minutes of nearly continuous sawing before the battery conked out. The battery is really small, so I am impressed with how long it lasted. If you need to use the device for longer periods it would probably be a good idea to get additional batteries and have them on-hand. I also like the fact that this is not just a cheap, Chinese knock-off and includes instructions written in understandable English, not the usual bad Chinese translation run through Google Translate. The manual is very helpful and includes a number of actual pictures and diagrams. It also lists the company's contact information and warranty, which is something you almost never see from Chinese manufacturers. Overall, I am very impressed with the device's quality and support. If they would just fix that button problem this would easily be a 5 star product.

A great circular saw that won’t break the bank
Well-built with reliable German design. I used this model in Europe for years and was happy to find it available here too. Excellent value for the money
