OREI HDMI Extender Over Cat5 165ft - 4K@30Hz with IR, Loop Out, EDID, PoC

Had HDMI going to an outdoor TV with 25ft expensive 4K HDMI cable but it would only support 1080p no matter what cable I tried. Pros: - Full 4K @ 30Hz over long distances - Much easier to run thin Ethernet cable instead of thick HDMI - Includes IR support and loop out - Reliable signal distribution up to 164 feet Cons: - None noted for my setup I switched to this extender and plugged it in on both sides with Ethernet in the middle. Not only is the cable easier to run and smaller, this works perfectly with full 4K. Highly recommend if you're trying to get long-distance 4K HDMI to an outdoor TV or similar setup. Would I recommend? Yes, 5 stars.

I had a situation with about CAT5 pre-installed in a room. This HDMI extended worked instantly over cat5 for a video signal at about 100 feet, across multiple hops. The system provides power over ethernet for the remote half of the extension, simplifying installation. The HDMI connection worked immediately with no apparent degradation in quality or speed. A great solution for the situation.

I had another HDMI converter off amazon but the HD picture it would flicker (couldn't maintain signal) The run is 70 ft This however works perfect . SOLID signal. Highly recommend.

This system worked perfectly for my scenario. I ran 4K video about 50 feet through CAT5. The images perfect. No issues with quality. I love how you only have to power the transmitter side. That’s great. It also comes with IR transmitter and receivers if you’re trying to control something that’s hidden. Extremely pleased with us purchase

The connection was easy and straightforward the function the easy and simple to connect the power cable and signal wire is good enough for receiver to not have any signal problems or picture quality over all the extender is a great item I would recommend if looking for a way to extend for long distances I will definitely buy again when needed.

Exceptional extenders and reliable with not latency. The units work well for video but recommend using shielded cable to avoid issues. The units handle video well beyond 165 ft. The size fits well for tight locations. Plug and play for extending video great distances.

Overall pretty good, but had a TV that I was mirroring for sports and it was lagging by 2 seconds roughly. Picture quality and ease of install were great though!

Der Extender macht für den Anfang jedenfalls schon mal einen super Eindruck und macht was er soll. Das Signal kommt sogar am Empfänger (Elgato Game Capture) ein paar ms schneller an als am TV, der per Matrix eigentlich genau so schnell das selbe Signal bekommt. Jedenfalls mit 15m Cat6 Kabel dazwischen eine super Leistung, allerdings nur mit 1080p60 getestet. Und dass der Empfänger via LAN-Kabel Strom bekommt macht es mir noch sehr viel leichter.

Bellissimo prodotto. Ho casa totalmente cablata e avendo un computer nella stanza principale ho fatto in modo di poter passare il segnale video in ogni stanza semplicemente spostando il cavo Ethernet. Veloce e rapido, non c’è quasi per nulla alcun ritardo. C’è scritto 1080 ma personalmente non ho trovato problemi d’immagine anche su televisioni 4k Scomoda solo la presa da dover mettere su quello principale per il resto top!
