79 years old, with several health conditions: Because it is comfortable, I wear it every day. I tested it once in the place I was most likely to fall (bottom of the stairs). It worked just fine with the drop motion. I will test it in a month in the kitchen to make sure appliances don’t block the signal. I’ll update this post then. And I always put it on the floor in the bathroom where I can reach it if I fall out of the shower. No, I don’t sleep with it, but it is on the headboard where I can reach it if I need it, and the blinking light on it tells me where it is in the dark. I just kind of wish it still had a good GPS in case I’m unconscious and can’t speak. Update: Been wearing this for six months now. Test it monthly. Charge it every other night. This model does not have GPS (wish it did, along with 5G). Funny story: I was at the children’s museum, earthquake exhibit, jumping up and down on platform to see how strong and earthquake we could produce. Suddenly the 911 operator was talking to me thru SkyAngel. We all laughed and apologized to the operator. 14 months after purchase, it is still working just fine. Been wearing it for 2 years, 3 months now. Used it past winter when I got into distress snowblowing, and could not even make it to the phone. I pushed the button, talked with 911 operator, and the paramedics arrived quickly. I am 81 now. This SkyAngel is worth every penny.

I've used my Sky Angel everyday and sleep in it at night, for two years. Never a problem and I've used it twice because I fell down. One was a trip to the hospital with a head injury. I live alone, and am very thankful for the Sky Angel.

The company really tests and supports their products. The 911 cellular dialing worked in many tested locations. The fall detection worked when tested and did not go off when I wore it cleaning the parents' house. Unfortunately, my too hip 80 year old mother decided she want a working 4g cellular without a watch without a smart phone, instead. So, I am calling this same company for a 911 watch. These 911 dialers are not for people who have heart attacks, or fall down unconsciously. Skyangel911.com sales have other solutions. A person needs to be able to tell 911 the emergency and their location. For a wabbly person, this is perfect.

This product is advertised as being water resistant and being able to use it in the shower. In the year I have had it I have had to have it replaced twice. The second time they tell me that the one I returned had water inside so they will charge me for a new one. I have only used it as directed so there is no reason for it to have water inside it. The one I have now will not charge and it beeps constantly if turned on. For the price they charge when they get water in them when used in the shower then they are not a good product. The idea is great but don't work as advertised.

I call the phone number on instructions left a message . I received a call back in a reasonable time. I asked about the GPS and explained to me there's no gps u would have to give your address. Also 911 confirmed they can not see my address I would have to provide it to them.

It provides great piece of mind. Light, easy to wear (not particularly attractive). Battery lasts 10 days before needing to be charged.

It works if you're near 4G/5G cellular service. That stands for 4th and 5th generation cellular service.

This device did not work at my house, even though we have cell service here. I tested it closer to town and was able to speak clearly to the 911 dispatcher. There was no GPS location given to them. I'm not sure what good an automatic call to 911 for fall detection would be if there isn't a location. I returned it.
