I decided to read this book on a recommendation from a friend, I had already been interested in the gene keys and human design, mostly as a tool to view myself, and I was using it in a similar sense to astrology. But after reading this book, I’ve realized that the gene keys and human design is so much more than just another form of astrology. It’s an insight into the human mind and the human soul. It may seem like you have to go through the golden path to understand who you are, but actually, I feel that each and every gene key is vital to understanding life as a whole. This book seems like a guide to understanding your hologenic profile but actually it’s a personal development book that will widen your mind beyond your imagination.

Reading this book the first time , may take some doing. Make sure you own the Gene Keys book ad well. It is also a good idea to go to the gene keys website and make your free personal chart. Manned with those items, your are about to start an adventure that will last the rest of your life. This book is not to read, it is to be savored, one section at a time, as you read your personal gene key for each position. Richard Rudd speaks about contemplation. If you have used this book correctly, you will be well on your way to learning the Art of Contemplation. Enjoy. This IS the first step into the rest of your life.

This book does a fantastic job of preparing you for your journey in mindfulness and contemplation to spiritual awareness. I have read many great books on spirituality, but this, along with the Gene Keys, dive deeper into knowingness than all other knowledgeable resources I’ve researched. I highly recommend this author. There is a deep resonance with his work. Thanks to Richard Rudd for going to such length on his own spiritual journey and then sharing it with the collective.

So much packed in this book! I've followed Richard's work for over a year and it's delightful every time. The activation sequence gave me the framework to contemplate my 4 Gifts and it was a surprisingly quick read - although I know I'll keep this book close to revisit and find new gems as my journey evolves.

I've had my eyes on this for so long, now I dont know what held me back. I think because sometimes when I read about gene keys and human design gates, I'm left with more questions. But this all made sense and gave me so much to contemplate. His explanation of purpose & lifes work (the general terms) has shifted something in me. I'm excited to explore my gene keys with his perspective of purpose, in mind. Glad I got this!
