is there enough space for a macbook charger to fit?

MacBook chargers are in different sizes. The largest one I know is 85w and is larger than 8 x 8 x 3 cm (for the main part exclude the plug), it can be put inside the unit if you use an extension cable and put the charger on one side. It can't fit if you want to use the charger directly with a plug without extension cable.

what's the height, width, and length max for a power strip to fit within?

It's 13.5 in long fully extended and 4 in wide. It fits a normal sized surge protector.

Is this plastic? I'm wondering if my new puppy would still be able to chew this?

Good morning! The Power Strip Cover is made of plastic and is approximately 4" wide and 5" tall. Depending on the size of your puppy, it may be able to chew on the cover.
