Review: Worth it. - My copy arrived yesterday. Stunningly beautiful printing and really well laid out recipes for as much or as little as you want to do. Even if you never make a recipe. It is lovely to read and has some very innovative ideas you could apply elsewhere Review: a beautifully made book, accessible for all levels - the first thing that stands out about this book is just how insanely beautiful it is. the design is clean and impeccable, at once contemporary and retro classic. it doesn't feel like it simply copies the mid-century aesthetic, it's like it pulls it into the present. the illustrations balance clean lines with subtle texture. and my god, the photography! the photos are bright and cheerful and crisp, without every getting cloying or gimmicky. but none of this would matter at all if it weren't for what's inside. this isn't just a visually dazzling, substanceless cash grab; it's very thoughtful, inviting and accessible. the authors think very deeply about the role alcohol plays in our daily lives, and about how we might be able to preserve the best booze has to offer, but in an alcohol-free package. it's clear they want their readers to know that hey, it's FINE if you don't want to hit the sauce, but you still want to enjoy the social and sensory joys to be found in a well-made beverage. there's a whole world to be discovered here. let's take this trip together!

Excellent book for creative Non-Alcoholic Drinks
"Zero: A New Approach to Non-Alcoholic Drinks - Reserve Edition" offers a creative and elegant take on non-alcoholic beverages. The recipes are diverse and innovative, perfect for those who enjoy sophisticated drinks without alcohol. This book is beautifully designed, making it not just a recipe book but also a conversation piece. It's ideal for hosting events or for anyone looking to explore the world of non-alcoholic mixology.

Not for the basic bartender. In a good way.
This is exactly what I have been looking for. This book is not for the home bartender. Every recipe requires a multitude of other small recipes to come together as one. If you are looking to be challenged and to upgrade your skills as a bartender who wants to provide an alternative option for non drinkers. This is your Bible. For me, this is exactly what I've been looking for. You will require space, resources, and ingredients that are out of the ordinary. If you're dedicated to the art of the cocktail and want to branch out to zero proof drinks, invest in this book. This book is also beautifully published. Worth the investment 10 Fold.

Pricey but worth it
This books is beautifully illustrated and the recipes are just impressive. I highly recommend if you are looking to use this book as a tool to work on restaurant menus or business. For the home bartender it might be a little too intricate for some of the ingredients are difficult to find but with a little skill and patience it’s totally worth the investment.

beautiful, interesting
Creative ideas for (fairly involved, many-ingredient) cocktails from The Aviary that happen to be non-alcoholic, beautiful presentation. I've just tried one, the whiskey-alternate (from roasted bananas, malted barley, fenugreek, popcorn, ...)-- fascinating, didn't taste "like whiskey" on its own (how could it without the alcohol?) but made a great sour. Note: without alcohol these need fridge space for storage.

The Deep-End of Zero-Proof
I love this book! Fair warning: this is not for beginners dabbling in non-alcoholic cocktails. This is for the people who buy a sous-vide machine just to coax truffle oil into tea, or who chase the perfect shade of snap-pea juice with a cold-pressed juicer because anything less simply will not do. If experimenting thrills you… if you love pushing the limits of what a drink can be… if you read a recipe and think, yes, I will absolutely nerd out on this for hours—then this book is your playground. Honestly, you and I should be friends, because not many people are willing to go this deep. Bring your harshest foodie vibes and apply them to drinks, because that’s exactly what this book asks of you—and it rewards you for it.
