I bought this after seeing reviews online and I am really happy with how well it works. I use this deep conditioning mask mainly on my half wigs, and it has made a noticeable difference in both texture and overall hair health. Silicon is meant to coat your hair so it’s looks good quality so of course it’s a bit greasy. The quality is fine and my hair always feels softer afterwards. I have also noticed that my hair doesn’t tangle as much after I use it and it looks healthier and more moisturized.

THIS product....Silicon Mix....absolutely repaired my hair in the first application. If it can transform my hair for the better, it will do it for you. My hair is past my shoulders, receives color every 3-4 weeks and I live in a very humid climate. I am also hypothyroid; thus, I take synthroid. My hair takes a beating and looks like it, sadly. However, this product, with just one application (yesterday), instantly improved my hair. Additionally, I noticed that I am freed up from ceramic blow dryer time AND subsequent product application (buriti oil). Alot less time was spent with my ceramic flat iron, too. I give Silicon Mix five stars. Best hair product investment I have ever made and I'm on top of my hair care product research for obvious reasons. I bought a couple of the other Silicon Mix products which have not yet arrived. I look forward to trying those out as well. How can anything like this get better? I'll let you know! UPDATE: April 29, 2013. Yesterday, I ordered my second 60 ounce container of Silicon Mix. Since incorporating Silicon Mix, my hair is in the best shape of its life. I highly recommend this product. SECOND UPDATE: October 17, 2013. Once again today, I used Silicon Mix on my now VERY healthy, very long (it is now at the middle of my back and I have trimmed nearly 1.5 inches since January 2013) and silky manageable hair. This sounds like drivel. Its not. I am 52 years old with the best looking long hair; the longest my hair has been in my life. My hair is so healthy and shiny that my bobby pins slipped out two hours. THAT'S how much success I have enjoyed with Silicon Mix. In fact, I have a friend who is a professional (retired) hairdresser who loyal to expensive professional hair care lines. Because of this product, my hair has been restored, purchase by purchase. In fact, I have not cut my hair since April 2011. Can you imagine how trying, how lack luster my hair would be if I had not found Silicon Mix? Perish the thought! This stuff will SAVE your extensions. I hit week 6 on my dying tape-ins and took a chance on this after seeing a Reddit post, and this stuff can be pried out of my cold, dead hands. I switch between wennalife and ugeat - they’re both great for about 3 weeks, then they start to look like straw. I do all the things to maintain them right - silk pillowcase, always braid before bed, no sulfates, lots of oil, blah blah blah, and they still get fried - they’re 150 dollar extensions, it comes with the territory. I usually only get one wear out of them - I’m buying new hair every move up. HOWEVER, ugeat was back ordered in copper and I had 3 music festivals to get to in two weeks, so I had to make these bad boys last. Shampooed with my normal shampoo, slathered this stuff on and left it in (this is the important part) and blow dried it completely dry. They look brand spanking new - see the before and after pics - no tangling, no matting, no frizzing. My hair feels like silk, and they stayed soft and silky throughout all 3 days of 100+ degrees at Newport Folk Fest, washing my hair in super hard campground water, and even forgetting to braid my hair one night. I’m now on week 7 of these extensions and I’ll probably be able to get at least another move up out of this hair, which I’ve never gotten before. But - because nobody else has given the step by steps - here’s how to make this stuff work. Shampoo with a CLARIFYING shampoo - this stuff gives you a ton of buildup. It’s all silicone. Slather it on, and leave it in. Blow dry it out with a round brush until completely dry. Put some of it in a spray bottle with water to touch up in between washes - works great. Only use it once a week, or your hair will start to feel heavy and super weighed down. Definitely not an every day thing. Use a LIGHT conditioner before it if you need to - I’ve got super fine hair so I just rock this stuff, but I used my evaNYC hair mask before this one day and my hair was sooooo overmoisturized and heavy. Don’t do that. Just buy it. It’s cheap. The smell isn’t bad at all. If you’re a weirdo about smells you’ll totally ignore it after you save a few sets of your extensions, trust me.

My hair tends to get dry and a bit brittle, but after using Silicon Mix, it feels soft, smooth, and noticeably stronger. It adds a beautiful shine and makes detangling effortless. What I usually do is wash my hair first, then apply a generous amount of this mask and leave it on for about 30 minutes before rinsing. That extra time really lets it soak in and gives salon-like results at home. The only small downside is that it has a very strong perfumed scent — not unpleasant, but quite noticeable and it lingers until the next day. If you’re sensitive to fragrance, that’s something to keep in mind. Overall, though, it’s absolutely worth it. The results speak for themselves — soft, shiny, healthy-looking hair every time. A little goes a long way, and this large container lasts forever. Highly recommend if you want your hair to feel nourished, hydrated, and revived!

This product line is fantastic. I discovered it on YouTube videos on"How to revitalize a synthetic wig." As they describe how well it works to soften, smooth the fibers, smells great, & brings even the most hopeless wigs 'back from the dead,' I thought I would give it a try for my collection of natty wigs. My thought was also that if it can perform miracles on wigs, what could it do for my C4 natural hair that has always been a problem...dry brittle, thick but weak strands that break like a stick, so course and tight to my head! I'm not exaggerating! Relaxers will loosen it a bit, temporarily but the effects don't last & it quickly reverts back! I did some research and found that Silicon Mix is a Dominican product that has been around for years! The product line actually contains keratin, that's known to rebuild and strength the hair like mine! I found a great price on Amazon I had nothing to lose. It would help my sad wigs. That was clear from the videos. So best case scenario would be to try it on my hair as well and it will work for both! Yay! The best case was made! It's resurrected my old wigs, to look like new and smell so lovely! I was so excited to see what it would do for my hopeless "nappy" hair. IT'S MADE MY HAIR JUST AS THE DISCRIMINATION CLAIMED! Wash hair put it in and wait a few minutes rinse and ta-da!!! 3) Multiple uses. The first time I tried it I left it in for maybe 5 to 10 minutes. I felt like I had just used a relaxer! My hair is soft, actually stronger, AND shiny! I'm not getting anything from the company, so my experience is sincere! I have actually put a relaxer in again to loosen it up and straighten it... I was nervous to see if that would ruin it or something. After doing that, I put the Silicon Mix in hoping to deep condition and protect it from damage, I kept it in for 30 to 45 minutes.
