would this be a good attachment lens for filming skateboarding or skiing?

If you are looking to get more in your shot or footage. Meaning more volume. It will give you about 2 more inches of view depending on how far away you are taking shots or footage from.

How does it fit most of the lenses even though description says 58 mm? Is there an adapter or something ?

Its a screw on type lens that fits 58mm lenses. Of you have ever purchased a filter such as a UV or a CPL same style screw on type fit. Works great!

I want a UV filter on the wide angle. The macro mounts to 58mm, but the WA is larger. 65mm?

You have to have the macro filter connected to the wide angle for it to work. So it will still be able to attach to your lens with a 58mm diameter. That said, the front of the wide angle glass is a 62mm filter diameter. (Just measured it)

No I did not notice blurriness around the left and right sides. For the price the lens did ok.
