KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Drive Assembly

We needed a replacement part for our Kitchen Aid standing mixer ice cream maker. This was exactly the right one and worked perfectly.

Note that this part is NOT compatible with the kitchenaid 8 qt Commercial series mixer. I had to dremmel off half the plastic to make it fit

I lost this piece of my ice cream maker, and this replacement worked perfectly!

This is essential if you want to use your KitchenAid mixer. I bought mine at a garage sale, but it was missing this part. So far, I have put it through its paces, and have not had any issues. It's durable, easy to clean, and made by KitchenAid.

This item did not work properly it was very wobbly on my KitchenAid

This device is to short to place the proper pressure on the churning blade. When the ice cream becomes thick or hard it disengages... and wreaked total havoc on the freezer bowl and the metal structure of my mixer

The description wasn't very clear and it didn't fit my KitchenAid. However, it did fit my daughter's mixer and they are using it.

Delivered within promised time frame and was glad to be able to purchase just the drive mechanism for our kitchen aid ice cream maker attachment; rather than, an entire new unit. After the drive mechanism was lost in a move.
