Love love love these cups! They are nice and smooth, love the handles with my large hands, and generously sized for plenty of room in the cup for marshmallows or whipped cream!! The color is a soft winter white, not a Snow White. Nicest cups I have ever had. Rated A+!

I have had these cups for 2 months, and I love the size and shape. Unfortunately, this morning, there was a large pubbl eon my counter and an empty cup of tea. The cup has a hairline fracture all around the bottom. I put cold water in cup as a test, and an hour later it was empty again. I contacted Dowan, and received a quick response and a refund for the defective cup. Thanks

Big, sturdy mugs. So far just what you should expect from a coffee mug. I was worried about handles breaking off but so far all good. Great for soup, ice cream and other.

These are great mugs. Heavy, but not too heavy when filled and of a great size! I haven't had these long but I have put them in the dishwasher without issue. They arrived in great condition and well packaged. My only issue where I minus a star, which isn't a deal breaker for me but might be for others, is that the mugs are not a white, white. They are more of an ivory or rather a warm white. I happen to love this warmer color, however I do have white everyday china that I use so there is a visible difference when put together. But if you mix/match different kinds of dishware i.e., flowered plates with rattan chargers etc., this would look lovely!

As I write this review there is an Amazon "Lightning Deal" going on..$25.49 ($5 off) ($4.24 ea) which is a great deal. I bought mine using the "used but like new" option for $20.49 ($3.41 ea). The cups come very well packed in a styrofoam cubby gig that Rocks !! On my packaging the top 1/2 inch thick sheet of foam was cracked (broken into several pieces). There was no sign of the cups ever being used...But even if there was, I have a dishwasher that has the "Sani Clean" and "Sani Rinse" options (almost sterilization mode). If drinking or eating after other people is a problem for you...you may want to avoid restaurants (think about it). Even at $30 ($5 ea) these cups are a great deal...The handle is what makes them so nice...it is roomy and comfortable...I have "other" 20 oz cups and the handle (teardrop shape) cramps my hand. The weight is perfect...not too heavy for a 20 oz cup. The glazing is even and perfect also (no light wavy areas)....It's a very nice coffee cup.

My Dad had big 16 oz mugs that he wished were a little bigger and white. These ones fit the bill. They are 20oz at the brim, but fits enough for his coffee and ice. The handles are nice and big too. I would buy these again. I love that they are dishwasher/microwave safe.

If you've ever tried to replace a favorite mug you know good mugs are impossible to find. Dowan has designed the perfect mug - the right size, weight, material AND PRICE. They don't stain like so many I've had, and come out of the dishwasher without having to re-wash them. No one has to fight over "the good mug" any more!

I’ve been using a 16oz cup for many years but recently decided to expand the collection. My search criteria for a set of cups included: 16-20 oz capacity; reasonably simple & stable design; ceramic or porcelain glaze that included covering the entire bottom of each cup; no fancy embellishment to keep costs reasonable; minimum 6 cup set. I’ve become fond of drinking tea. Almost all tea bags contain enough tea for two 8oz cups. I prefer at least two cups of tea at one sitting so I need a 16oz cup. I guess I’m getting lazy in my golden years ‘cuz I tired of hand washing my one big cup, usually twice a day. I have a set of 10oz cups in my cupboard that I never use, so I decided to replace them with cups that I WILL use. After a short search on Amazon and after reading many reviews, I settled on this set. WOW… I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived today! They truly meet all the criteria on my list, including the bottoms being fully coated. It may seem fussy to some peeps but I’ve had cups in the past that had a ring of bare or raw clay on the bottom. The rough surface can easily scratch the finish on a table. These cups are smooth as a baby’s bottom (lol). They’re described in the ad as having a 20oz capacity… & they ain’t lieing. Full to the brim is slightly over 20 oz. They comfortably hold 16oz of liquid and can be carried easily without spilling. Given their large size, they’re surprisingly light weight but feel quite strong and sturdy. Check out my attached unboxing video that shows how well they’re packaged by the manufacturer. Amazon did a great job adding a good supply of shipping “airbags” to keep the inner box from moving about within the Amazon box! I washed one cup to enjoy a leisurely cup of tea. The beverage stayed warm for a good long time! I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. I strongly recommend as a great buy!
