This thing is awesome. Getting it set up right the first time is a tiny bit challenging but not too bad. Works great once it is set up

When aligned does a fairly good job. Much better than drill doctor. Take a little time to get bit and guide to engage correctly. I use mine with a diamond wheel.

Well I am impressed with this tool. It makes sharpening drill bits fun.

Easy set up . Practiced on a couple of cheap bits to learn. Within ten minutes I was sharpening $100 bits. Works great. I had hundreds of bits thrown aside because no one around sharpened them. I have plenty now and they look and work as a new one.

Arrived on time well packed. Nice appearance. Tiny instruction sheet in 6 or 7 languages with almost unreadable print pretty much useless. Lots of good videos online show set up though. Works as advertised on large drills bigger than 5/16 “. Works poorly on smaller than 1/4” because the indexing point does not hold them uniformly and securely. All of the adjustment screws are loose fitting and do not hold their settings causing a loss of position in the middle of a job. This makes getting precise equal edges on both sides difficult. I added a wing nut stop to the aft locking wheel which helped some. Steep learning curve. After four or five tries and really tightening the screws close to stripping got good results on large drills. On commonly used sizes around a quarter inch points would be OK for wood but not suitable for precise holes in metal because of slightly unequal grind.

Greek product, but not for some.I used this for the first time and fixed some of my dull bits and brought them back to factory or possibly even better. I sat there with a friend and lent it to him and told him how to do it, but he messed up all of his bits even more. I guess it depends on the person.

Does a good job, but bit fiddly to set up. Replaced couple of the adjustment screws with hand screw adjusters, as this makes setting different drill size bits much quicker and more accurate. Once set up properly to grindstone it works very well. Take your time getting the angles right and practice with a couple of old drills and results will be good. Did a lot of blunt drills, which now cut really well, set the cut angle to shallow cut for hard metals, excellent results through thick steel.

Love it, I have tried many jigs for drill sharpening without much success. This jig like most great inventions is simple to use and does a great job.
