Great product - it keeps my face clean. I never have blackheads when I use it regularly. Overuse can cause skin irritation, so I only use it 2-3 times per week, and always in the shower, so I can be sure to rinse it all away.

This is our favorite face wash with benzoyl peroxide and glycolic acid. We've been using it for so many years. They stopped selling in stores, ao I am always happy when we can find it on Amazon. Recently it's been out of stock and I need it!!! Please Acne Free, keep making this formula!!! We always buy the 3 pack whenever we can. Keeps my skin acne free, even at my age with my hormonal acne flare ups.

Packaging comes with a seal across the top so it does open in transit but it’s really hard to get off later. My daughter likes this product which is why we use it. It definitely has a chemical spell to it but it works well for teenage acne. Non foaming

After Curology discontinued their 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cleanser, I’ve had to try over 8 different brands to find a viable alternative. There simply aren’t enough options for benzoyl peroxide formulas, especially at 2.5% concentration. In what few options that do exist at 2.5% concentration, they usually have have several other active ingredients or artificial fragrance & sensitizing compounds. I have an autoimmune condition with a history of severe cystic acne. In my teens, I had to do multiple heavy rounds of accutane, plus some skin bleaching for the scarring. I can’t use concentrations over 2.5% due to my sensitive skin, but still require some benzoyl peroxide. This cleanser is gentle enough to not provoke my auto-immune condition, while effective enough to handle my cystic acne. Easily the highest quality formula around with my requirements. If it weren’t for this, I’d have to go back making my own from raw cosmetic ingredients.

Terrific product, recommended by my son's dermatologist. Be careful of overuse, it can cause skin to become overly dry. It is lightweight and a staple at our home.

I have never once had something good to say about a liquid I ordered on Amazon. Having said that - phenomenal packaging. This is the most leakproof packaging and tamper proof thing ever! It honestly could be an add for that piece of tape on the bottle. It even ripped off in one piece was not a pain to open at all. It did take some significant force though, so maybe get someone handsome and strong to help you, if needed. (I did not check if theres a safety seal but to be honest, theres unsavory bacteria in our produce so it's ok if my $7 cleanser doesn't have a safety seal.) For the actual product, I don't have high hopes, but maybe I will get a surprise in that department too.

August 2014 my cousin introduced me to the Acnefree Severe Cleansing System that comes with 4 products. It cleared my acne up quickly and completely and it is the best acne treatment product I have ever used. Unfortunately the face wash in the kit finished around February. It was so good that I didn't really want to use anything else on my face but obviously I still had to wash it so I was using random face washes. My skin was not a fan of this and I broke out terribly (especially also because of stress and heat from my climate). Acnefree isn't sold where I live so I have to either buy it online or wait until I travel to the US. Hence the long delay. When I bought this cleanser I still had a little toner left and quite a bit of lotion. I made a huge mistake however because I was looking to replace the face wash from the Acnefree severe kit, I bought this one because it was the same brand and the ingredients were the same. BUT BE CAUTIOUS. THE SEVERE SYSTEM FACE WASH HAS 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE AND THIS ONLY HAS 2.5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE. I should also mention aside from that one really bad breakout my acne is mild to moderate. My skin is very cooperative with every face wash, it's just that some work a lot better than others. When the severe face wash finished I wasn't consistent with washing my face, I wasn't using one face wash and I was very stressed and in a hot climate. Hence, the really bad breakout. I used this cleanser for 2 months and I use a lot and wash my face twice a day and there's still about half a bottle left. It cleared my bad breakout up but I still notice a few zits or small bumps occasionally. The bad breakout also unfortunately left so many dark spots across my cheeks especially the right one. This cleanser does nothing for dark spots and I'm mad at myself for waiting til my acne got bad before treating it as that was what left me with dark spots when I had a very even complexion before. Bottom line: If you have mild acne and just need something to keep occasional zits at bay this is good but I prefer a thorough system with a cleanser, toner and lotion and because my acne isn't too bad using products with a higher dosage of benzoyl peroxide kills the acne quicker and keeps my entire face clear for much longer even up to a month after I stop using it. So I'm going to repurchase the Acnefree Severe Kit. Mild acne : get this Mild to moderate acne : get the Acnefree Severe Kit
