Red Kap Men's Snap Front Cotton Coverall, Oversized Fit, Long Sleeve

I needed some 100% cotton coveralls to wear while welding. Can't have any polyester in your clothes while welding. So, I decided to give these a try. They arrived with some kind of fabric treatment I didn't much care for. One trip through the washer and it was gone. They close via metal snaps. No zippers, buttons, or velcro. The way they are cut, they are easy for even an old, mobility impaired guy like me to get on by myself. They fit over summer clothes fine. When I was done, they came off just as easily as they went on. I could move perfectly fine with them on. No restriction at all to any movement. I wore a leather welding jacket so these overalls didn't get full of small burns from welding splatter. Overall, if you need 100% cotton coveralls these work fine. I would order your regular chest size. That's what I did and they fit fine. They are pre-shrunk, so wash and dry as needed.

Very happy with this purchase. I'm 5'10" 195 lbs and the size 44 fits perfectly. They were a little big until I washed them. They do shrink.

Good quality, heavy fabric, and construction seems quite decent as well. However, it is too small overall. I ordered to my chest size (36) and it's slightly snug in the waist (I have a 32 waist) and quite short in the crotch even though I did not have pants on underneath, only underwear. I'm assuming it will shrink some in the wash, as indicated by other reviewers, so I'll try sizing up by 2 full sizes to a 40.

This is a quality garment. The fit was just as I expected. I did my own hemming on the legs . The cotton material weave is strong and dense. I’ve never seen overalls with this quality and thickness of material before. Good sturdy reinforcements in the waist, sleeves, and button panels. Just had one minor issue on one sleeve button clasp, it would not stay closed but I would wear this open or rolled up anyways. Looks like a throwback to a scene from a 1930’s era film. I did not get snagged when working under my truck on a dolly. Easy to flex when squatting or reaching for things under the hood. Washes easily on normal warm cycle. Did not leave much lint in the dryer. I totally recommend this.

I needed white overalls for dirt moto riding in Arizona. The dark colors are too hot. The size chart didn't work out, but luckily they are oversized fitting so they're still functional and comfortable. A great product and fair price.

PROS: It's thick, warm, and 100% cotton. CONS: The fit is terrible. I read a ton of reviews here to get an idea of what size to buy. I normally wear a size 42 coat so I ordered this a bit larger (size 44) to be safe, but it's short in the arms and legs by a few inches and too baggy (allowing dirt in), but worst of all the crotch seam is way too short so it pulls on your nuts and constantly squeezes them up from the minute you put it on which is very uncomfortable. I would buy a bigger size (44 Tall or even 46 Tall), but 2 of the snaps fell off after washing and now the price is double what I paid.

Have you ever seen the movie Holes? I purchased this so that I could go dig a 5 foot wide by 5 foot deep hole like the kids in that movie. Digging the hole only took about an hour and a half and the jumpsuit stayed very clean. I even tried to make it dirty and the dirt just falls right off of it. It's a very comfortable suit to drink beer in, you can wear anything underneath it and still access your pockets through the holes in the side. If it gets too hot you can also unbutton it and tie the sleeves around your waist. I've washed it probably ten times and it is still a bright orange, I wish it would dull down a bit to at least make people think I work hard. I'm telling you this jumpsuit will improve your beer drinking experiences, the pockets can fit a 12 ounce can. As far as the fitting goes it fit as expected, but the buttons don't go all the way down to the main drain so peeing requires a slight bend at the waist. Also not comfortable for sex.

Had to order twice to get a size that I could even put on. I am 5’8” - 175 lbs with 34” waist. I had to order a 44 Long to get one that I can wear - only extra is legs a little long, but can easily deal with that. It still is not large around body but can manage. I can’t understand why. The sizing is not Honest??? If you get a size that you can wear; it is worthy of 5 stars.

Exactly what I expected nice medium weight cotton. They are well made and the snaps are a good quality. Will be buying more. Genuine work wear.

Great all around would buy again. One button did break off but meh.
