Best Flavor of ANY Coffee
This Columbia Huila is one of the best coffees I have in my arsenal. I have ground around 100 different whole bean coffees, and this is the coffee I come back to day after day. It reminds you of the coffee you would find in a small coffee shop; a super flavorful, pleasant blend. It truly is one of the best single origins you can buy. Single origins typically do not have as much flavor as multi-origin blends, because the beans are all the same flavor. But Koffee Kult has made an exception. When brewing, I have found that using 1.5-2g extra coffee than you normally would for an 8oz serving results in the best flavor. It doesn’t over power you as a “strong” coffee, though. It just adds the perfect amount of flavor. This coffee is a great coffee for drinking any time; morning, noon or night, this flavor never gets old. I am on my fifth bag of this Columbia Hulia, and will stick with it. In conclusion, do, buy this coffee. You will have zero regrets. The flavor is extroidinary and complex. It is always fresh, and always here in 2 days. All of Koffee Kults coffees are great (I have had all of them), but the Columbian takes the cake!

Mamma Mia
This is the first time I ordered Koffee Kult. We mostly drink Cappuccino. We have an expensive fully automatic espresso machine. When I opened the Koffee Kult bag, I saw that the coffee beans looked slightly oily. I was concerned whether the beans could get stuck and roll down well in the built-in grinder. So far, no such problems. To be cautious, I move the beans slightly in the morning in the bean container. Not sure if this is necessary though. What can I say about the coffee quality? I used 3 different kinds of Lavazza and half a dozen other varieties in the past. I said to myself 'mamma mia" when I tasted the first cup of cappuccino I made with KK beans. After about 30 cups of cappuccino with Koffee Kult, I can say without hesitation that these are the best coffee beans I have ever used, especially the aroma. After making two cups of cappuccino in the morning, when I return home in the evening, I still have the smell in the house and I love it. Very pleasant smell indeed. My cappuccino tastes great. No bitterness. Smooth and somewhat sweet taste that is perfect for me. Honestly, I will stick with these coffee beans from now onward.

Coffee in our house is serious business and Koffee Kult didn't disappoint. This is one of the few coffees that ...
Very solid, medium-roast coffee. Coffee in our house is serious business and Koffee Kult didn't disappoint. This is one of the few coffees that both my wife and I can agree on. I prefer darker, bold coffee while she likes lighter/"blonde" roasts...but Koffee Kult Colombia Huila has been a perfect compromise for us. It's not light and watery, has plenty of flavor, and is never bitter. We've re-ordered several times so far and will continue to do so as long as the quality stays high. We grind it just before brewing in a Baratza Virtuoso and never have problems with it being overly oily. Grinds for drip, french press and Chemex pour-over have all been great. Are there better coffees out there? Yup. Is this a really good coffee that is also a great value? Definitely.

this is good stuff. I am a coffee snob
Goodness, this is good stuff. I am a coffee snob. Can't drink just anything. This stuff is good. Strong tase, as in flavorful. No bitterness, none of that "burnt" kind of taste to it. It's smooth, great flavor. Thick and enjoyable cup. Great aroma. I've only recently discovered Kult. I've ordered I think three different origins from them. Probably my favorite is their Zimbabwe. This stuff is good too. Restores my faith in Columbian coffee, which too often can be not to my liking, cuz many roasters like to burn their Columbian beans. Personal preference, but I don't like that. Some do; to each their own. Suffice it to say that if that's the flavor you like, look elsewhere. THIS roast preserves and showcases the flavor of a true Columbian bean very nicely. Will order again. And again.

Their coffee is good, but $18/lb
I ordered Coffee Bean Direct from Amazon in the past, but I've been spoiled by working next to a Philz Coffee. Unfortunately, the prices at Philz are going through the roof. Their coffee is good, but $18/lb? I'll gladly pay $3 for a ready made cup, given their expenses for rent and wages, but for coffee beans to use at home, I prefer to look elsewhere now. This stuff is a good alternative. It doesn't say exactly when it was roasted, but the coffee doesn't taste or smell stale to me. It's good quality product, and the seller clearly cares about helping you get the most out of it: they provide the best resealable packaging I've ever seen for coffee beans (to keep the beans from going stale due to oxidation). Also, the packaging has excellent advice printed on it, such as to use sufficiently hot water (as close as possible to 205ºF, but no hotter). I grind only as much as I use at a time, and use a Bunn BT that dumps very hot water quickly in an oversized basket so you don't overextract. The result is very tasty.
