U.S. Solid Motorized Ball Valve- 1" NSF Certified 304SS Ball Valve with Manual Function, Full Port, 9-24V AC/DC and 2 Wire Auto Return Setup

Installed in main water line of vacation home. Plugged 24 volt power supply into a Alexa controlled module. Now we turn water off/on with our phones and no worries about water leak while we are gone. Appears well made and works.

I have 3 of these valves that I use all of the time. They work great. I did have a problem with 1 of them last week where it stopped working. I was 2 weeks away from the 1 year warrenty expiring. I contacted the company and they got back to me the next day. They said that it was still covered and they sent me a new valve. There service is great. I am working on another project and I will be ordering 6 more of the same valves. Best company that I have ever delt with.

This valve is an excellent value and offers great features like an automatic shut off when power is lost. I bought a 1inch and 3/4 inch NPT and both operate flawlessly. Durability is undetermined but for now I am very happy with my purchase.

This model valve has a feature I did not expect and makes it more functional and useful than I anticipated. It has a manual valve opening knob that is recessed into the case a bit. See picture. When the knob is withdrawn completely it engages the gear that rotates the ball on the valve so it can be opened or shut (closed) regardless of the power being off. If the knob is out, and power to the valve has been removed the valve WILL NOT Self-close which is exactly what I want. If power is applied again and then the knob is pushed in, the valve will self-close as designed when power is removed. While the knob is out, power applied will always open the valve. Pulling the Knob out disables the self-close feature and also it provides a back-up method of opening or closing the valve again if power is not available. Slick. At 10 Volts, power draw is about 250 mA until it stops rotating and gradually declines to a few mA. It uses a 2F/5.5V "SuperCapacitor" for Power to close the ball valve upon power removal. I have used them in microcontrollers to sustain them if power glitches. As another user surmised, durability is indeterminate, but for my use it is fine which is to shut off the water to the house if power fails. I am mounting a low-voltage switch on an outside wall near the back door so that if a pipe or line breaks I can easily instruct anyone about turning off the water. A 12VDC wall cube will keep it energized.

Waiting on seller feedback. When first energized valve fully opened. When power removed valve partially closes less than halfway. Same outcome after repeated attempts.

I added this motorized valve as a master shut off valve to my sprinkler system. Running my sprinklers on well water, rust particulate contamination in the water makes the zone valves become erratic periodically. This solves a problem of leakage while the system is off by positively shutting off the water going out to the sprinklers. This valve is ingenious. It uses a 24 V master pump start signal to energize the valve motor and open the valve. I thought it was a spring return. But instead, it charges a capacitor and uses that to close the valve when the 24 volt signal ends, according to the literature. This makes it very easy to install, and the stainless steel and Teflon parts will give it a long life for me.

I have two of these under my diy van. I've had to replace 5 of them over the past 4 years. They fill with water and short out. Not the slightest waterproof. Instructions say to mount in a box if continuously exposed to the elements but that's not practical. I've silicone the hell out of this new one. I'll see if I can get more than one year out of this one.

Easy to control, will turn off any 3/4 water pipe no problem. Take about 7s to close /open ; installed 6 months ago, still working

A great valve. I have 3 that I use for water changes on my large aquariums, and always opt for this brand as it has not let me down yet.

Solid bit of kit. Used this to make an automatic waste water dump for my Campervan build. Works a treat.

doesnt always fully close with low temps, supercap is way too small...

I use it as a catastrophe shut off valve for the incoming water to my house.

bench tested and works as described, install not until the spring - hopefully it will last
