It's amazing for school, journaling, or even drawing as my ballpoint pens even with repeated pressure over the same spot doesn't bleed over too hard (just faintly). I love opening and closing it so much as it's so smooth. The texture is wonderful, like not too glossy but instead this nice thick papery/cardboard feel. Originally, I saw the cover and fell in love with the art, then realized there's three unique ones (outside covers and inside covers). I think the price is worth it if you find journaling easier on spiral notebooks than non-spiral, which was why I ended up buying this, and I definitely would again! I could see it lasting a while if you make good/complete use of every page. It's my absolute favorite notebook currently, the illustrations and great quality feel make this so special to me.

I am an avid hand written note taker, and i have a very heavy hand. Most notebook pages tend to rip while im taking notes, but never these ones! I've been using Decomposition books for the past 4ish years, and I dont think i could ever switch back to regular notebooks! I bought this notebook as a backup when i eventually fill up the pages of my two current Decomposition books, as I've already filled up two! I love the kittens in space pattern (I actually have a folder with this pattern!) so of course i had to get it! To be semi technical: The weight of the paper is heavy enough to prevent scratching through, but there is of course going to be denting in any paper if you have a heavy hand like me. The paper is very soft, easy to write on, and while the pages are a little small compared to other notebooks, they are perfect for smaller handwriting. While the price is high compared to basic college-ruled notebooks, the high quality paper, covers, ink, and eco-friendliness all make up for it in the end!

I bought this because I got the matching folder for like $6 at my college bookstore and my OCD told me I needed to have everything matching. It’s a beautiful notebook. It’s extremely durable, the art is beautiful on both the inside and the outside of the covers. The paper is thick, wonderful quality, and I love that it’s recycled - literally the best quality recycled paper that I’ve personally come across. But the notebook was so expensive that now I can’t bring myself to use it! It’s just a regular size notebook and would go fast with note taking for a regular college class - wouldn’t even last a whole semester if you’re taking notes right. So now it’s just sitting on my shelf and I’m taking notes on my laptop instead (which I prefer taking notes by hand but I don’t want to use the notebook!). Good notebook if you have the extra cash I guess, or to use for doodles (if you’re ok with lined paper) or a journal or something along those lines, but wouldn’t recommend for note taking for a class.

Decomposition notebooks are some of my favorite in the world... I randomly found them in Washington and eventually realized that I couldn't buy them off the Amazon as well... I strongly suggest them any of them, their sketchbooks are great. Their college ruled notebooks are great.. just an amazing brand all together

Me encantó su diseño pero resultó ser una libreta muy práctica. Un poco más grande que A5, sus páginas son de raya y presentan margen. Además de una zona punteada para facilitar sacar las cuartillas del cuaderno.
