Worked perfectly for my purposes, which were different from how it was designed. I only needed the lids. I have old iron drains in my basement and some of the lids/strainers have rusted apart over the years. I cannot find them anywhere. I had to trim the hinges to make these lids fit but then they sat perfectly in the old drain baskets and being PVC they should last forever. And the whole assembly is a quality product; if I ever have to install new drains in a concrete floor I'll be buying more of these. Price was great. Recommend.

This item did not fit for our need. They do not do free returns even with amazon prime, the item cannot be opened, or they will not take it back, (only way I could see if it fit). They charge a 20% restocking fee. It cost more to have it shipped then the item cost. So I will cut my losses and trash it. It is not economical to return so just beware in case it does not work out for your project. Other than that, it looks like a nice item if it fits your project.

Used this for my garage drain from melting snow. Sturdy enough for recreational use do doubt. I did have to drill a vent hole in the middle to break the vacuum when there’s lot of water thou.
