How do I calculate the extended lug-bolt length I need?

Add the spacer thickness to the factory bolt’s shank length. Example: a 29mm factory bolt plus a 10mm spacer requires a 39mm bolt. Match the thread and seat type, then confirm at least 7.5–8 full turns before it is tight

Why do I feel vibration after installing the spacers?

Vibration often comes from rust or debris, uneven torque, the wheel not sitting flush, or a wheel or tire issue. Clean all mating surfaces, test-fit for full contact, hand-start all nuts, torque in a star pattern, and recheck after 25–50 miles

What causes vibration after the spacers are installed?

Spacers reduce wheel offset, increasing scrub radius and the suspension’s moment arm. Thicker spacers create a larger change, making steering more sensitive to road inputs and making worn bushings, bearings, ball joints, or tie rods more noticeable

What is the recommended torque specification?

Torque the spacer-to-hub nuts to 95-100 lb-ft with a calibrated torque wrench, tightening gradually in a star pattern. Do not use an impact wrench for final tightening. Recheck the torque after driving 25–50 miles

Do I need extended lug bolts?

Yes. Spacers 5mm or thicker require extended lug bolts. For M14x1.5 applications, each bolt must turn at least 7.5–8 full rotations before it is tight. Do not drive if proper engagement cannot be achieved
