Updating my review: I’ve now been using the GPS since October and am still loving it. It’s provided more accurate directions than either of the maps apps I have on my phone. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this. Spend $57.00 on this very options-filled GPS or spend an extra $2000.00 to have a factory GPS in your vehicle when you buy it. There’s nothing to not like about this GPS. The touch screen is as good as the touch screen in my girlfriend’s Denali Acadia and it responds as fast if not faster. The suction mount for the dash keeps it securely in place and it doesn’t vibrate when on a bumpy road. It also has a shroud that covers the sides and root to keep any sun glare out. The screen is nice and bright and a perfect size for an add-on GPS. I’m amazed at the quality and sturdiness of it. I figured I wouldn’t get much for $57.00 but it was to my surprise that I was way wrong. I’m buying a few more for my family members that do t already have one. I would highly recommend this to anyone even thinking about buying a GPS for their vehicle because you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was when you get it. What a great add-on for my Ford Edge!

The product took ages to get because the seller didn't take the time to put my apartment number on the box. In the end I had to go at my own expense to pick it up. The seller never even replied when I asked him if he put my apartment number on the label. Even though Amazon were paid by me to deliver it. The product is a total scam. Even Amazon set up a false engineer phonecall service, but when I put in number it would not recognize it, surprise surprise. I want my money back. No updates, no support, no downloadable maps, just a few demo maps. Then the battery became useless and the product needs to be plugged in all the time. All over the net people are asking HOW DO I UPDATE MY NAVRUF GPS. This company should be banned. I'm really not exaggerating, it's the worst. Don't waste your time or money on it. They deserve to go out of business . The product does not work as advertised. Its basically a piece of crap. No side available to install maps. It is completely useless. I put it in the cart vs saved for later and the next thing I know it was on my door step. My wife saw it and purchased it. I put in my truck and started using it. I was surprised how well it worked and fairly easy to use with out reading the instructions. I have only used it locally driving thru 2 different county's and about 1:20 minute trips it works great and even took me thru a gated subdivision that requires a gate code for access luckily I had the gate code, what was so neat it told me I had to have special permission I would recommend purchase it was so cheap I am thinking about buying another one, The 7 inch screen is awesome and I like that I can set it for the Hwy speeds and it turns red when speeding. Arrival time and distance to destination is easy to read

This GPS unit is & was the best GPS that I ever owned, it had anything & everything. I fell in love with it until I found out the BAD & I mean extra BAD fault it had. In A right or left turn ahead the unit would tell you that you had A turn coming up in READING ONLY !!. When I drive I want to keep my eyes on the road, not trying to read what is on the gps screen This unit has A voice, SO!, right at the turn, the voice said turn. Well HELL!! I could not put up with that because I would have the turn past up 2 or 3 hundred feet. I was thinking they had to be A adjustment on the unit to have it saying the turns 3 to 5 hundred feet back but, no adjustment because I contacted the factory & AMAZON. Got NOTHING back from the factory. I can't believe the factory had this unit loaded this way. Had to send it back.

This GPS seems to work okay and is very easy to use, except for putting on the dash holder, and the frame does not fit at all. I went to their website but it is useful only for buying products. I can not find any way to update the map for the unit. I did find helpful video on Amazon to add the dash mount, and also the frame if it had fit. I probably should have spent the extra money and bought a Garmin, but this does work ok and I just set it on the seat or console so I will keep it.

There were so many GPS units to look at on Amazon- I basically selected the highest rated one even though I secretly felt more comfortable with a Garmin unit because I use a Garmin running watch and it's fantastic. So we were literally heading out the door to drive 6 hours away when my amazon package arrived. Perfect timing. I was afraid it would take a long set up or need wifi to update or something. However after I turned it on I set the time to GPS time and entered the location and mounted it to the windshield with the included hardware and away we went. This is the way it should work. Very happy. We've used it a few times and there are some backwoods mountain areas where the GPS veers off the highway a bit, but never for more than 30 seconds and it doesn't affect my driving. The only thing I would recommend is if we could dim the screen even more. Driving at night, even at the lowest setting, the screen is pretty bright so it's not a super smooth transition going from the GPS unit to the dark road. That's my only critique. Otherwise it works well as advertised. Touch screen is responsive and perfect size. Less than $60. Do you have any idea what our forefathers had to do for navigation??? Thanks so much. Oh, the default speed limit warning was annoying but I quickly turned it off. Never had to look at the instruction manual which is nice when the software is intuitive and self explanatory.

I just returned a Garmin that I had paid $180 for, and thought to try this one, at $80. Best decision ever! Hands in the best GPS I have ever owned. Nice clear, large screen, set up is a breeze, didn’t even need to look at the instructions...it is just that easy! I really like the extras, like it’s ability to play videos and it has a few games. If I don’t need the navigations aspect, I can pop it off the mount, hand it to my grandkids in the backseat, and they can entertain themselves!..so that’s cool! It has choices in how you view the maps as well, like high above, or low.....which is good, so I can see the streets coming up. It even has a warning for large curves coming up if you want!....it lets you know if you are speeding! Don’t waste your money on those expensive GPS’s like I did, then have to return it, because it was not user friendly...just do yourself a favor and get THIS one the first time, you will be glad you did!

This is a decent basic automotive GPS device. But the instruction book with it's chinglish instructions is pretty much useless. Fortunately, the basic functions are fairly easy to use if you are familiar with GPS devices. And don't look to their dated web page for any help - it's full of broken links and errors. You can't even download the "free maps" - trying to download one results in a "source file could not be read" error. Not that it matters anyway; the map downloads you can't download are in ZIP format with no instructions on how to install it to the device. (Safety advice: always always be wary about downloading and running ZIP files from unfamiliar sources on your computer) And their generic Outlook.com email address does not inspire a lot of confidence as to how responsive this no name manufacturer will be. So, about the only positive thing I can say about this device is "it seems to work". Otherwise, you're on your own baby! The mounting bracket is tricky to install - again, don't look to the instruction book for help. Just examine the bracket to find the locking tabs; locking the bracket to the display requires a bit more force than I felt comfortable using on the display but use some force and maneuver it a bit and it will snap into place. The first time I turned in on, it took a bit over 10 minutes to acquire a satellite. At about the 10 minute point, I was ready to pack it up and return it. But it did finally acquire the satellite and on subsequent uses it does acquire the satellite quickly - 15 seconds or less. And since you can't download map updates from their web site, it's a good thing that the installed map seems fairly accurate - although I haven't used it out of town yet. Since I was unable to ascertain the date of the installed map, and because you can't download updates, I am leery of how accurate the map is. And I'm still trying to figure out what the small weird unmarked hole on the side marked "256mb" is for. And an unmarked slot that looks like it's for a memory card - but, again, nothing in the instructions about what it's for or how to use it. My advice: bypass this one (even though it's cheap) and look for a decent name brand device with an established company that keeps their web pages up to date. I definitely would not trust this to guide me through an unfamiliar area.

I bought this GPS hoping it would work in the Middle East. Unfortunately, it’s built for use in North America ONLY. Also it arrived with a broken part.
