This is a great product. We've had a different bolt lock which had a sliding bolt which wasn't attached to the lock. It eventually began falling out of the lock , and was difficult to push up into the lock. This is so easy to install and use with the handle attached to the lock. We bolt the door every time now as its so easy. Where was this when I ordered the first one, it is soooo much better. I recommend this bolt lock highly!

good lock, make sure you oil it before installing or it will jam. I oiled the lock with motor oil and opened and closed it a few times to get the oil inside works like a charm I have purchased several of these locks for different homes and none have ever failed on me if I oil them when they bind up.

This is a replacement for one we have had in place on our sliding patio door! Fantastic safety lock 🔏 for our winter home! My husband drilled a hole in it, added a cupboard door knob, and made it easy to lock and unlock on the top side of the door!

Very strong lock, they are going to have to break the door to open to get in.

Had to build a slight offset in top screw hole to adjust for door jam clearance

I use this on the outside of the door. I lock up when I leave out the patio door because it works and my door key is non existent. Easy to install and gives me what I needed

That is perfect! We use it as a safety pin to protect our condo building door. People use to leave the fix door open, but with this, only security of administration can unlock it!
