The cocoa butter formula smells subtle and comforting, and I love that it’s designed for daily use. I’ve noticed improved skin texture and hydration, even on rough or dry areas like elbows and knees. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and works great for hands, body, and anywhere you need extra moisture. Highly recommend for anyone looking for effective, long-lasting hydration with a pleasant scent!

A good product for specific purposes, more of a 4.5/5 on its own for acne- and blackhead-prone skin. Because of the petrolatum/mineral oil, it can be a bit greasy. To its credit, it mixes well with many other products and is improved by them. I frequently mix a pump with a few drops of Bio-Oil, a squeeze of The Cool Fix aftershave, and half a spoonful of Manuka honey. I have experimented with skincare due to my extremely sensitive, keratosis pilaris- and acne-prone skin. These extra ingredients whip up the lotion into a buttery, smooth concoction that is neither sticky nor oily. The lotion on its own has been great for healing where I sometimes pick at my skin and need deep moisturization (acne on shoulders and body), but can cause a few blackheads/clogged pores to appear if I don’t shower within 24 hours—this is my only real reservation about the product, as it advertises “48 hour moisture” and also recommends daily application. If, for example, one day you shower in the morning and apply this lotion afterward, it would be a good idea to shower again in the morning the next day and not wait until the afternoon or evening, especially if you have sensitive skin. As part of a daily routine, given how well it plays with other products, I’m marking it a solid 5 stars. Significantly better than other products for my sensitive skin, although it can be a bit thick coming out of the bottle (see photo). I don’t mind the cocoa butter smell, it layers well and soaks up other scents so it should be fairly easy to cover up even if you do dislike it. I have never noticed any residual streakiness or yellowing once the lotion goes on my skin, but I already have red/yellow undertones to my skin so those with cooler undertones may notice some effect I’m not getting. I feel like overall it goes on fairly smooth and clears up, even if the oils are somewhat thick when the product is applied by itself. For extremely dry skin, it’s a miracle worker—no more ashy elbows or knees, and it soothes dry and cracked feet really well. If you know what you want to use it for, it’s awesome. It’s not a “set it and forget it” type of product unless your skin is very dry; for sensitive skin, it’s all about the maintenance.

Super soft. I took a while to warm up to the scent of it, but after a while I loved it. Literally one of my favourite smells now.

LISTEN! this smells sooooo goood. Like a sweet vanilla chocolate scent, I absolutely love it. And most importantly it is extremely moisturizing. It lasts really long on my skin and every time I wear it people always compliment me that I smell so good. I love it and I definitely recommend that you buy it if you’re thinking about it.

The only lotion I will put on my whole body. It’s a little too thick for your face unless you are suffering in winter from terrible dry skin. This lotion is the best in moisturizing for your legs and if you are pregnant I highly recommend because I had two girls and I was 125 pounds size 0 at 21 and gave birth at 175 pounds and a size 10. I have 0 stretch marks thanks to palmers cocoa butter. My second child I also used this with still not a stretch mark in my belly at all. I got about one or two on each breast and two marks in my upper thighs but I had them way before I had kids from when I was a tween with baby fat. It’s told by my kids when little I smelled like chocolate and then we wanted chocolate lol it’s the BEST hands down!

So good product, it moisturize and softens it also helped with my stretch marks . But the smell isn’t the best

I typically wait a while before I write a review so I can really see how the product works. I have Eczema and Palmers lotion is the only product I have used that helps to keep the Eczema at bay. It smells so good and is excellent at soothing the skin.
