Very disappointed
Very disappointed about no play store, phone is really nice..but can't get half my apps I want.. Did manage to phone clone some from my girlfriends phone but still some didn't work 😭

Disappointing
I bought this phone and the white/pink version for me and the wife, we have owned previous huawei phones (mate 20 pro and p30) thought we would upgrade and give these ago. unfortunately ended up sending them back. the phones themselves are great, camera battery build quality etc no faults. its biggest downfall is the ability to use google! reading the reviews on amazon i made the decision to take what others had said on board and just see how it went. i am very technically minded and no matter what i tried (unofficially) to install google services it failed. we both didn't realise just how much google has the market for this. we both ended up with a phone we couldn't use half the apps for! it was very frustrating. the aurora store helped so we could install apps but a lot were not supported. here are a few apps i had problems witheBay (did not work at all couldn't log in or load anything)facebook (worked but crashed a lot)starling bank (worked but certain parts didn't) comes up with not supported by your deviceemail (was unable to get any email app to work correctly with different accounts)Thats just a few apps there were lots more. problem is more apps than you relise use google services and without it you loose out on so much. Apps even use google services to push notifications, my starling bank app wouldnt notify me of anything! as with several others! usually i wake up in the morning with several notifications but with this phone...... zero!its a shame that huawei and google have gone this way but i am sure huawei will eventually get there but they can't force other app developers to create their app for the Huawei app gallery so its going to be limited. not to mention that half of the most used apps especially social media are owned by google.it reminds me of iphones and jailbreak community, iphone gets jailbroken, apple fixes
