For Nosebleeds
A good item to have on hand for whenever a nosebleed occurs. It can be carried in a pocket or purse. It worked well as it stopped the nosebleeds when it was used. Follow the directions on the package. A good value.

Great nosebleed dressing
Great choice to stop nose bleeds. They are a little stiff so use saline nasal spray to soften a little and works great. They are all sterilely packaged and easy to open and use. Works great sets up with gel like substance so the blood stops quickly after use. Tells you to wait 30 minutes and then remove. Dependent on type of nose bleed may need to apply again. Good price for the money 25 applications in the box

Greatest Product Ever
This stuff is amazing. I suffer from recurrent nose bleeds due to blood thinner medications and have been to Urgent Care, Emergency Rooms, numerous Cauterizations and this stuff really works to stop the bleeding, I am so glad to have them on hand.

It works
Works as advertised. Stops the bleeds MUCH faster. Rebleeds are also reduced even AFTER the packing has been removed. I get really bad seasonal nosebleeds that just pour out whenever it wants. The bleeds just happen for no rhyme or reason. At times I sense when a torrent is coming and I can get a TP plug ready at other times it happens when I tilt my head down, smile at someone, shower or if I'm having a good day. In any case it's embarrassing for me and frightening to onlookers. These bleedcease nose packings look like beige wispy fibers all running in parallel. It doesn't look like cotton gauze at all. Its also very two-dimensional, which could pose a problem when packing it into your 3-D nostril. You gotta develop a technique that maximizes the contact area between the packing fibers and the actual bleed site. For me I create a TP torpedo that has a fore-end covered by the bleedcease. This allows me to reach deeper to the site of bleeding AND it also presses the packing against it. Thats IF I know a bleed is coming. In acute bleeds, I hold my head up, tear open a packet and shove the packing as far as I can into the nostril and pinch for about 5 minutes. Minus 1 Star. Due to packing fibers being very flat. When I first used it, it didn't work too well, eventhough I knew I was right on top of the bleed site. I realized quickly that I had to press the packing against the bleeding for the chemicals to do their thing effectively. If done right the bleeding stops in about 1/6th the time with TP and less blood swallowed ๐ฐ. Blood buggers also shorter due to stymied flow. I now pack two with me at all times, two in the wallet, two at a backup site and two more to backup the backups. <--- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Nosebleed must have!
Nose bleed must have!! Being on an anticoagulant, I get nosebleeds frequently and when I do they are terrible and hard to get stopped. Able to get it stopped using appropriately 4-5 of these. They are a quality material, go in the nose comfortably. Using several they may be a bit costly, but it is better than a trip to the ER. Already bought another box to have on hand.

For nosebleeds first, cuts second
On the box: BloodCEASE, 25 sterile packings. Distributed by Catalina Healthcare, Mendon, NY, made in France. UPC 184369000106, no other product id numbers. In Jan 2016 the expiration date of the lot I received was Jan 2018. Inside the box: 25 individually paper-wrapped BloodCEASE, each package measures approximately 2-3/4" X 3-7/8" with "Les Laboratories Brothier, Cedex, France" printed on it. The individual package has a lot and expiration date but no instructions for use. The box does contain a fairly comprehensive instruction sheet which lists the active ingredient as "Calcium Alginate - a natural bioploymer" and says that it is not compatible with alkaline or chlorhexidine solutions (found in some antiseptics). Inside each package was one of the BloodCEASE packings. The packing material consists of fine woven threads (cotton threads, such as in cotton balls would be a good comparison); the packings each measure about 1-3/4" long, 5/8" wide and about 1/8" thick (uncompressed). They hold their flat shape but can be folded or twisted to accommodate your particular use. My experience with such products is in the first aid arena and I have used the impregnated gauze pads from other manufacturers with good results. The thickness of these packings should allow them to soak up a considerable amount of blood but in my opinion they are a little large for the small cuts that just won't stop bleeding - it would create quite a bump on that finger you nicked with a kitchen knife. They appear to be best suited for nosebleeds as there is enough packing material to clog up most adult nostrils. At about 80 cents apiece, I would consider them a good value.

Pretty Good
These help once the nosebleed has slowed down. The donโt stop heavy flow bleeds but are ace at stemming lower flow bleeds.
