So as mentioned in the headline this plate is used for when running multiple cables and or a verity of cables through a wall. You can also use this in my instance where I am not quite sure of how many cable will be end up going through that outlet and need something temporary until you everything is done without leaving an eyesore. The plate is well made and it even split into a top half and bottom half so if for example you have and oversized plug that wont fit through the hole in the middle you can slide the two parts apart and re connect then with the cable in the hole. The plate is easy to use and well made. The shipping was fast and package was not damaged in anyway

Works well. It was this or a brush wall plate. The advantage of this is that the plate splits in two so it can be installed around the wires without having to disconnect them and run them through the plate. This way they install very easy. Maybe a brush plate would have a more "sealed" look around the wires, but this was going in back of a TV so it was fine for my purposes. In time I'll see if the rubber stiffens over time or starts to crack. It came with two screws. It screws right into the electrical box, versus decor plates which screw into the device that screws in to the junction box. It came sealed in plastic with a little instruction paper and the product was stamped in the plastic with the company name so it is was not some some generic product sold under different distributors.

What was an ugly hole in the wall where my tv and internet wires entere to our tv/router room is now a pretty legit looking wall plate. I added some new wire covers as well to match. Overall it was a pretty easy install, the plate is of fairly good quality, the only negative is that the two pieces start splitting once the screws are tightened all the way but honestly, if you're careful, it's not that much. It would have been a huge time consuming job to unplug all the wires, take them out of the wall and then back in just to install a wall plate so this product is a time saver. Overall, recommended.

Comes in two pieces, is difficult to have it sit flush

Straightforward application. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. The advertised measurements are wrong. The size is 4.5" x 2.5"

Very interesting product. This is the only offering that I could use due to my cable size. I am routing a 12/3 extension cord through a garage wall into a utility area. The ends on the extension cord are very large, but the way this cover comes apart - it's perfect for this type of large cable routing. I would recommend this product, and will be buying another one soon.

Great for through wall larger cables like satellite internet cables. After I run my cables through, I caulk it to seal it on the outside wall. They work great, look great! You can even (for exterior wall penetrations) stick the nose of your caulk gun in and shoot in some sealant without it showing!

As others have said this does not fit perfectly on the low voltage boxes. Mine did go on easily and it covers the whole in the wall. So now the rest of the story. I recently replaced my old TV and new one sits higher on the wall. This made the low voltage cable box a bit visible at the bottom of the screen. I never installed a plate over it but now I needed one. I like this split design because I did not have to disconnect the cables and the center hole was large enough for my big cable set up. I have a very large 6 in one fiber optic hdmi cable and this worked great. However when I tightened the plate a gap opened in the center. I’m not returning this because you can’t see the gap from the angle we sit at but if you want a clean tight look this may not be for you.

We were very pleased with this product. It is also very well done, you can split it in two when you install it which makes the installation even easier, no need to fool around with the cables to go through. Also, it was great that it was just a simple plate with no box or any thickness at the back as it was just to cover a hole in the ceiling in which we passed our security camera cables from the attic.

I used lags to secure the plate fitted the 2 pieces together one at a time. There are 2 thin plastic pieces that help to line up the pieces, they break off easy but there are 2 tabs that are thicker you can use to line up each piece of the plate. End result I am very happy with!
