This knock sensor harness is a good investment if you have mice issues around your home. It is made very well with a stainless braided Sleeve over the wire. The connector fit perfectly on both sides. This went on a 2005 Honda Pilot. I did make a replacement harness initially but decided to use this one instead because I didn’t want to revisit the issue 6 months down the road when another mouse chewed wiring.

Works as described. No telling if the mice can chew through it but it replaced the deteriorated broken wire in my 06 Pilot that was throwing a code for my knock sensor not working. Happy.

Purchased because original wire was broken. Online research said to use a genuine Honda knock sensor. So i ordered a harness that fits the OEM sensor. The problem came when i installed said sensor, this harness that is OEM fit, did not fit as it has a different connection. I went to the Local honda dealership and talked to the parts department. I found out that my 2006 Honda Pilot requires a different connection on the knock sensor than the other 2006 models as mine is an EX as opposed to an LEX. We found this out when the parts counter ran my VIN. If you have the notorious knock sensor problem/code, take note of this experience. Picture descriptions: 1. This harness I ordered has the setup for a square fitting on the sensor side, and a small oval on the master wire harness. This is the correct Genuine Honda sensor and OEM complient sensor wire. But because my VINs trim package has a different sensor, I decided to use the wire that came from the dealership, which also has an anti-vermon wrap. 2. Wire ordered does connect to master harness, but not the sensor I bough, which is genuine Honda, but not for my sub model. 3. The two different sensors side by side. Left is a 2006 pilot Genuine Honda sensor. Right is a 2006 genuine Honda sensor for an EX. Check your VIN with the dealership!!

Mechanic for 45 years: Protected as good as they could from Critters as the Engine Department in the Honda is perfect for Nests. (Not a criticism of Honda). Clips, Wires, and Covering are impressive. They must be lightweight by design. Only years of heat will tell the true story as the original never failed, the Critter ate it.
