Nice printer
This is a really good multi functional printer. I replaced an inkjet which was failing with this. As you would expect with an HP colour laser the print quality is superb. It's really an office printer but it sits happily on my table, although it is quite bulky. I paid to have it installed as I couldn't lift it upstairs and was apprehensive about installing it myself. In the past I have experienced terrible bother installing printers and I think this is best done by an expert. With regard to the installation I paid the extra £59 for installation when I purchased it. Unfortunately this has not worked out as hoped. Although the appointment was confirmed by text and email on the day of the appointment no-one turned up. I rang OrderWorks, who were supposed to carry out the installation and they said they would phone me when they could send a technician out, but couldn't say when, and they would not be coming that day. I subsequently rang a local IT technician and he installed it that afternoon. The service from the supplier was excellent, both with delivery and in response to a query from me. The printer is easy to use and I am very pleased with it. I had a very good deal with the price too. The downside of this is that I have paid twice for installation and obviously am not happy.

Great.
I bought an HP laser printer a couple of years ago, and I like it so much that I decided to get myself an HP all in one laser printer. Typical of HP, this printer is wonderful, very clean printing, a fast scanner, and at an affordable price. What else can I say, it is great, and I recommend it for anyone who's looking for an all-in-one laser printer.

EXCELLENT PRINT QUALITY HERE. SUPPORT VERY HELPFUL.
An excellent home office printer. The printed MANUAL is 'generic' and consequently I wasted an hour and a half looking for something that was not on my machine. I rang SUPPORT and the rep talked me through the bits I did not understand. Later I was abruptly told that their 'INK REPLACEMENT' scheme was not available for this machine... bit pathetic that as I was happy to sign up.

Great quality
Very good product for the money. Didn’t expect to get a laser printer under £500 let alone half that. All the features work really well. Can’t fault it at all.

Mind of its own
I am very disappointed in this printer. It just does what it wants, tells me "out of paper", it's not! Defaults to fax operation. Have to re-start computer to get it to print each time. If I could get it to work it would be brilliant. If I could afford to I would give it away and buy a new printer.

No automatic two-sided printing
I was surprised to find, after I'd bought it, that this does not do automatic two-sided printing. It only does manual duplex.

Der LaserJet Pro M183fw ist ein guter Laserdrucker, der perfekt für den Heimgebrauch oder Home Office geeignet ist. Die Lieferung mit DHL erfolgte pünktlich, und die Verpackung war unbeschädigt. Kurz ausgepackt und schon ging es los mit der Einrichtung. Die Einrichtung gestaltete sich intuitiv und problemlos: Nachdem Der Drucker mit Strom versorgt war, braucht er erstmal etwas Zeit um hochzufahren und sich zu kalibrieren. Dann drückt man sich durch das Setup: Sprache, Ort und Einstellungen kann man wählen. Das Verbinden des Druckers mit PC ist realtiv einfach, man benötigt jedoch die HP Smart App für die optimale Bedienung des Druckers. Das ist meiner Meinung nach nicht so schlimm, da die App sehr einfach zu bedienen ist und man auf alle Funktionen Zugriff hat. Nach dem Verbinden kann man die Basisfunktionen wie Drucken und Scannen sofort benutzen, und hier zeigt sich das Vergnügen. Der Drucker ist mit einem ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) ausgestattet, der die Dokumentenstapel automatisch scannt. Diese Funktion begeistert, wenn man viele Seiten zu scannen hat. Verglichen mit dem Scannerglas ist die Auflösung jedoch deutlich geringer bei 300 DPI gegen 1200 DPI. Man muss abwägen ob man die Qualität braucht, oder es auch mit einer geringeren Auflösung geht. Nachteil bei dem Scannerglas ist, dass das Scannen deutlich langsamer ist als mit dem ADF. Wer Qualität möchte braucht also Geduld. Fazit: Der HP Color LaserJet Pro M183fw überzeugt mit seiner einfachen Bedienung und bietet sowohl Komfort als auch Flexibilität: Der automatische Dokumenteneinzug (ADF) macht den Alltag leichter, während das Scanglas für beeindruckende Scanqualität sorgt. Die Druckleistung ist gut und liefert relativ schnell saubere Ergebnisse, solange es sich nicht um riesige Stapel handelt. Für den Einsatz zu Hause oder im Home Office ist dieser Multifunktionsdrucker eine super Wahl.

Buena impresora. La instalacion es sencilla, pero si se configura por red no funciona por USB. Yo necesito ambas y he tenido que instalar dos impresoras, una solo para USB y otra solo para red. Por otra parte, los tóner origunales son caros y se gastan pronto. Vienen con un chip pero se pueden comprar no originales teniendo en cuenta que esta pkaquita hay que ponerla.
