I would highly recommend you get a high endurance card like this one
FINALLY a 128GB micro SD Card made for endurance was released! Last year, one of my roommates had his bikes stolen out of the yard and he asked me if my Thinkware F770 dash cam had caught it, but my 32GB SD had already deleted any chance of seeing. So I started looking for a bigger SD card, but the largest cards at the time made for high endurance was only 64GB, and I really wanted something larger With this card, the F770 saved 2.5 hours of parking mode motion detected footage, and it has files saved on it starting from 4 days ago. Plenty to catch thieves in the driveway. The "memory partition" setting I chose allows it to record 15% of the card. On continuous recording, it saved 6.6 hours of driving footage, using 53.6% of the "memory partition." I wish the camera would let me customize the "memory partitions" myself so that I could allocate 90% to Parking & Continuous modes to get more buffer time. Either that or to lump all the different recording modes into their "memory partition" and to leave Manual Recording on it's own "partition." That way there would be plenty of footage I could review I've either been leaving the car parked a lot, or I'm on a long road trip. I would highly recommend you get a high endurance card like this one. Otherwise the cheaper cards will wear out faster because the camera is recording to it all the time, especially when you have your dash cam set up record while parked. The Samsung Pro Endurance 128GB card was released shortly after this one, so I excitedly bought it first. But it wasn't fast enough to record the front and back cameras of the F770 reliably because it was only rated for U1 write speeds. So I returned it, gave up its 5-year warranty, and coughed up the extra money for Thinkware's own SD Card here. Since it's rated for U3 write speeds, it works! I just wish though I had looked at compatibility of SD cards before I bought the F770. The only 32-64GB cards that I have been able to get it work have either U3 write speeds or Thinkware's branding (thank goodness for Amazon's return policy!) If the camera had a more efficient recording codec, then I'd bet it could record the front & back cameras to slower cards.

Purchased the 64GB version for a Thinkware F800. After three days use no issues. My learning curve, was to read and find out what works, for the hardware. Also understand, eventually you will buy more, as SD card are restricted to how many times you write to them. Dashcams, video cams, security cams are the most demanding.

Usable but high price
the card that came with the cam is not enough to store 2 hrs recordings. after changing to use this card, it lasts about 8 hrs of recording. It is expensive than the other brand, but it is safer using its own brand.

Card was defective and causing gaps and pixelations in recorded videos
This is an official Thinkware card -- supposedly made to very high standards and intended for use with their equipment. Wow. I noticed that recordings every few seconds had frozen frames and pixelation, so I investigated. Turned out the card -- which was only 3 weeks old -- was defective. H2testw (removable storage media test software) reported the following: The media is likely to be defective. 195.6 MByte DATA LOST (400670 sectors) 195.6 MByte aliased memory (400622 sectors) I'm happy I watched some videos before *needing* any videos, and caught this when I did. Returning and buying another brand.

Extra storage for the new vehicle dash cam
Got new dash cam from the same company. It only came with an 8gb card. I wanted more system l storage capacity, this brand does not allow use of cards of not their brand. So I was required to get one of theirs. Kinda crappy ๐ฉ in my opinion. However their branded cards were basically the same price and already formatted to work in their dash cam. So it was plug it in and it worked straight away no issue. I say for me it was worth it. I just wish they sent a 64gb with the dash cam when I bought it so I didn't have to get a new one.

Previous memory card was corrupted
My Thinkware dashcam kept restarting and saying that my memory card needed to be reformatted, even after I tried to reformat the memory card directly on the dashcam, and again on my computer. This new memory card solved all the issues - my dashcam stopped restarting and resumed normal operation.

Gives excellent recordings
Having the genuine Thinkware SIM card gives one the reassurance that it will work on the in car camera and record an excellent quality video.. In fact within days of receiving it another driver reversed into me and at the time accepted it was his fault, this was on a Saturday, so I could not report it to my insurance until the Monday, when I did they told me that the other party had reported the incident BUT claiming I was at fault.. Submitting the video evidence it was quickly established I was the innocent party, without it probably would have been a knock for knock claim..๐๐
