Marvel Select Captain America Action Figure

Unless you could afford to buy a Sideshow Collectible Captain American figurine or from other select artists at incredibly high prices, this is the "go-to" figurine for the price. My only complaint with this product is the paint application. The colors on the shield looks very plastic-y compared to the stellar paint on the Captain America action figure itself. I'm sure Marvel Select was going for some sort of color contrast, but the shield just looks cheap.Regarding the paint application again, it looks rushed. One of Capt's eyes is not even finished, missing the blue color for the iris of the eye. The metallic blue color paint is exceptional though, in contrast with the black-grey color on the costume.The base looks very cheap. The color on it looks cheap as well.As for the weight - super-light. There's barely any weight to it. It would have been nice if the base had a good weight to it to make up for the lack of weight with the figure.Sounds like a pretty negative review right? Well, I'm just stating the facts that I see fit. I hope it helps with your purchase.

A bit smaller than I thought it would be

I knew beforehand about the limited articulation but I wanted something patriotic for my office at an economical price and this fit the bill. The paint itself was decent but the paint application has some sloppy spots. Each figure of course will vary. The stand is decent also and may need to be used to keep the figure from toppling over due to aforementioned articulation.

Sculpt is fantastic but the paint is super messy, the articulation is seriously lacking and the rerelease version witch is what you are buying here has changed the paint colors, no more metallic flake it's all matte finish. With better leg articulation and paint it could have been great.

The only reason it's not 5/5 is because the base for captian America was stuck on its side and the only way to fix it would be by opening it. I still love it though it was a perfect gift for my hubby

Awesome winter soldier

Service was prompt, efficient, and on time....Captain America action figure was everything I expected it to be. It's been a lot of fun to place it in different positions....The colors and the costume are just right....ARSI

Captain America - awesome sculpt and addition to my Marvel Select collection. Hope they come out with a Captain America Avengers sculpt
