I looked a a number of aprons, although not cheap, the quality of the item is excellent and I suspect will last for years. Easy to clean, and dry. I like the clips to fasten at the back, no fuss trying to tie the straps, nice number of pockets too, very pleased with the purchase

Good product, good quality and good weight. While fiddly to put on, it stays securely and comfortably on me. I tend to be a slow cook, so it's more important for me that it's comfortable and secure than the slight extra faff (due to the back cross straps and securing it at the back) of putting it on.

We are often let down, not completely left happy when a new purchase from a maker we don't know arrives. But wow this is both putting a smile of complete joy on my face but also it's such a good product I am recommending to others! Straps and fastenings make it a perfect fit. Used for cooking.

Great apron. It stays put once donned with a very large range of adjustment. I prefer to tie the straps at the front and there is ample to do this around my 30” waist. Clasped at the back this apron would fit the 'most trustworthy' of chefs or less cryptically for those unfamiliar with the expression larger girths. The loop for a cloth is a little low for me but it hangs nicely on the aforementioned straps which is my preference anyway. I was concerned that the colour would bleed in the wash (I have the burgundy) but the apron washed does not fade or shrink. There are more pockets than I will ever need in the kitchen but would probably be quite useful in a workshop. Think light diy, model making not welding or smithing. The apron material isn’t going to stop molten metal splatter! In conclusion the fact that the apron fits so well and stays that way so that you can forget you are wearing it justifies the extra cost.

Had this a few months now, it's been washed a couple of times. It's well made, comforable and very functional.

Initially, I purchased the burgundy-coloured apron, and was immediately impressed by the design, construction, and durability. The fabric, however, was somewhat light in weight, and as I wished a second one, I bought the blue DENIM version, which is significantly more robust in nature. I decided to give the burgundy apron to my wife, and ordered a third in black DENIM. We are, at present, (2020) in basic self-isolation, and spend many hours in the kitchen. These aprons are our constant companions, and indeed, along with my chef shoes, I would feel naked if I wasn't wearing one. I have nothing negative to say about these superlative Hudson aprons and their features. Unlike many, the straps go OVER the shoulders, greatly reducing strain, a major bonus if one is continually cooking or washing dishes. Instead of being just a frontal protecting shield, they extend, reasonably, around the sides of the body, and fit much like a favourite shirt. Two things: 1) We never put them in the dryer....and let them air-dry. 2) If storing on a hook or peg on the wall, I always face the front/outside against the wall, and then hook the inside hang-loop on the peg. That way, (in theory) the apron straps are positioned to go when you wish to wear it again. A high-quality item that has made a major impact on my many hours in the kitchen!

I got this to give as a gift. It is a nice, durable apron that is great for BBQing. It has plenty of pockets, straps that are comfortable, and is a very fair price. This is a great option for a "manly" apron that should last for years to come.
