Best of: Three Degrees

It's not all the moroder produced tracks from their collaboration with him, but there are plenty of them. Some of them are the short versions, but not all. Hopefully someday those two LPs will be released on CD. Until then, this is well worth having in your collection.

Para mi The Three Degrees (las originales)son las mejores voces de todos los tiempos. Hay que escuchar canciones tales como Dirty ol' Man, Magic In the Air, When Will I see Again entre otras para poder apreciar la calidad vocal de estas feminas. Este cd es una de las mejores recopilaciones hechas, por eso le doy un 5+.

A good representation of the Ariola years, in particular. I'd forgotten all about Without You, and have been thrilled to rediscover it here. Some oddities: Dirty Ol' Man is shown as being a Live version but, thankfully isn't. The great hit When Will I See You Again is poorly represented here - it follows on from a lush, fully orchestrated version of I'll Never Love This Way Again, and that really contrasts when the CD moves on to When Will I, using a version recorded at a live show, backed by what sounds like a 5 piece band, complete with dodgy string-synth and a weird sound balance. Buy it for the other tracks, but not for the last one!
