Using these connections work well allowing the easy change out of implements to your garden hose such as wands, sprayers, sprinklers of various designs or hose connections, or just connecting or disconnecting from a hose bib. You have to be careful to check the tightness of each implement or else they will leak.

I’ve used these Gardenia hose connectors for the last 30 years and I’ve only had to replace it once they are highly durable and lasts an extremely long time. I highly recommend the system for your hose.

I love this adapter. Connect to a regular hose and then a simple pop on / off to any Gardena connector. I can quickly remove a hose to move to another part of my garden. It fits well with no leaking.

Works ... well, somewhat. Just don't reel it in or drag it over a brick, pavers or end of concrete. Then the hose disconnects on it own and water is spewed everywhere, have to shut off the hose and reattach. There should be a mechanism to keep the part from opening when this happens.

As others have mentioned, I too tried other brands and was disappointed with them. Honestly, wrote the entire concept off. That was until I bought a gardena retractable reel that included the quick release connector. After using these I quickly converted all hose attachments over to these. Very happy.
